I thought the D did pretty good.  I think they had the most sacks of any team or maybe second.  They were on the field a lot and looking at Cousins as the QB knowing he isn't going to finish the game.  That has to be disheartening.  Cousins record is something like 4 wins and 26 losses to teams with above 50/50 record.  That is pathetic.

Right you are, 4-25 for his career against teams with winning records. :bonk: Keenum was so much more mobile than Cousins along with Remers & Compton pretty much stinkin it up all season in front of him. If they don't try to upgrade the line through the draft & free agency, that young Bears D is going to eat Cousins alive.

I like Stefanski but the way they treated him I don't think he will stay here.

Hard to say.

There are only 32 Offensive Coordinator jobs in the NFL and only 32 Head Coaching jobs.

I'd think a wise man could swallow his pride and accept the one that is the best career fit for him.

How many head coaches have the Browns sent through their revolving door?

Sure, Stefanski is interviewing for a head coaching job - and I hope he gets it that's what he wants.  But on the other hand, if he isn't ready for all that and the Browns fire him after a couple of years, is he better off?  Maybe, it depends on his next job, I guess.

Is DeFilippo better off by going from being a quarterback's coach to Offensive Coordinator, but getting fired before the season is done?  It depends on his next job.

I'll expose my homerism here...  I wish Stefanski the best, whether its here or elsewhere.  I don't give a rat's patootie what happens to DeFillippo.  And I hope the Vikings get their offense coaching squared away to the point where the team is living up to their full potential.

Heard it on CCO the other day & haven't seen anything here so thought I'd bring it up. What do you think of Gary Kubiak as assistant head coach & offensive advisor for Zimmer?

Watched a little of Kiper's & McShay's mock draft on ESPN last night & they had 'em taking an OT from Ole Miss in the 1st round.

Ya I don't know what to think about this Kubiak thing.  Sounds like they are already watering down Stefanski's job to me.  Who knows Kubiak may be our next head coach.  They also hired his son for QB coach.

I gotta believe it is Zim's idea.  I think Zim is looking for his football soul mate after Tony Sparano died.  Its not like Spielman is going to hire another OC right after he just hired one.

I also heard - if you believe what they say on the radio - that Stephanski and the Kubiaks go way back, so you might not have to worry about these guys not being on the same page.

Just read where Stefanski & Kubiak's boy were together with the Vikes in 2013-14. Mentioned bringing his TE & OL coaches with him too.
