I can see the upside to have him for a year but I think it would change all of the chemistry that we now have between players, coaches, and owners. Not in a good way. Write this down:  I think I would rather have Cousins as a #2 instead of Rodgers and you know I had enough of Circ.

  From a pc from this morning that I just read......... Stand back to assess the three seasons with Adofo-Mensah and O’Connell calling the shots. On two occasions, the top twosome opted for a new quarterback in late August: Mullens in ’22 and Rypien in ’24. Other teams worked through their training camp and preseason, conducting quarterback competitions that resulted in someone being squeezed out. On a pair of occasions, the Vikings were quite happy to move in to scoop up the depth option who didn’t make the cut elsewhere. In 2023 Cousins got hurt so it was Mullens, Hall, & Dobbs all starting at the end of that season.

I really don't know the fascination with Erin. The odds of him leading the Vikings to the Super Bowl is 0% greater than McCarthy doing it. The odds of Erin being a distraction and a pain in the ass is 99% greater than McCarthy.

He won't sit behind McCarthy, he won't mentor McCarthy, he guaranteed wouldn't do anything he didn't like. 100% risk for 0% return in my book.

Yup you nailed that one Dutch.       He hasn't won for many years so the chance of him ever doing it again is nil.
