2018 MNO Deer Hunting Contest

Official sign-up thread for the 2018 MNO Big Buck Contest.
 

Eligibility - You just need to be a member of MNO and plan to hunt deer this year.
 
Photos - Proof of each deer killed will be a photo (one per member) submitted with you and your deer in the picture with piece of paper with “MNO 2018” on it. No photo shopped photos will be accepted. This is a fun contest so let’s keep it fun by being honest.
 
Please try to take a second picture of the antlers so the judges can see the number of points and size.

Scoring rules: The biggest racked buck wins (prize to be named later) In case of a tie (by points), the first one posted (by date) wins. But, obviously, a 190” 10 pointer would beat a 120” 10 pointer

End - This contest will end on December 31st and pictures must be submitted by 11:59 PM of that day.  Have fun, be safe and we hope to see a lot of good pictures.

now HD, even tho glenn and i are losers, and glen being a born loser,  glenn has been texti g me that he hopes you would determine the grudge match between our deer.  so with that, id appreciate everyones judgment betweenn our 2 deer as in whos 2nd and 3rd place so glenn can qu8t whinning about it and let me sleep at night, thankyou. signed, It dont matter to me  but it dose to glenn.

Thanks guys. I know I am extremely lucky to have the land that I do.  It is a special place and just seems to get better as the years go by.  It does take a lot of work to improve the habitat and keep trails cleared but it keeps me young and I'd hardly call it work.  Things look promising for next year as well being I have numerous photos of big bucks that were not killed. 

I probably posted this before but it is deserves a second look.  Maybe next year?

With no skin in the game (fight), I closely examined both bucks and agree with HD's assessment that Boars would be ahead of glenn57's buck.  However, now that I looked at the pictures, I must say that both of you need a lesson when it comes to taking deer pictures.  Neither of your pictures give a true indication of the bucks antlers. For next year you may consider taking a picture of the buck in the field including yourself and hunting buddies.

A picture from a side angle would have helped on both pictures. I couldn't get a very good view of the tine lengths.
