I'll have to try that,  I cant see replacing all the time. We have a bunch of pebble rock around that's on the bottom.  Thank ya sir!!

well ya could go hydroponic I suppose....  or what ever it's called where they grow them in water only..................

I have thought it would be fun to raise lettuce indoors so we had it all year round without getting E coli.

All my tomatoes and peppers are up and 2 inches tall. Started them 2 weeks ago. Now it's time to start the cole crops.....cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, pak choi, and kohlrabi.
Conservative on some things.....Liberal on others.....Sane most of the time.

Actually 8 weeks indoors puts mine at the end of April,  just about right for pots. Gotta spread em out so they're not all ready fer picking at the same  time.. :happy1:

I'm still thinking of indoor lettuce.  Here is the site that makes it look easy.  I will buy a Romaine today and if I don't die from eating it I will propagate more baby Romaines from the first one.  Put them in pots and sit them in the window and see what happenhttps://morningchores.com/growing-lettuce-indoors/s.

Picked up my onion sets today. 2 lbs worth. Hopefully the general can make it this week to till the garden up. :happy1: then we're off to the races. :happy1:

We just went for a walk to check our trail cameras and found some asparagus peeking out too.  Will have to cut them later today cuz it's going to freeze tonight.
