so i understand early zeason plot would consist of alphalfa an clover types. late ssaso  would be barrasicas types.
my question is one has to mow the alphalfa clover a few time thru summer, cause the deer prefer the new growrlth.
my question is what if one cant mow it, is it worth then even planting it. and just stick with plating barasicas in late july.

Depends on how much traffic you have, and how much you plant.

I have a small clover plot, oh I'd say, around 1/4 acre.....I never mowed it cause the deer keep it trimmed down by themselves. And sometimes they pound it down to the ground.

I also have a larger plot of clover that I have to mow cause they don't use it as much.

Normally, you can't go wrong with clover.
But if you don't want the hassle, maybe just plant rye grass.
I don't know what your situation is, but that is an easy alternative with little effort and will produce for deer.

Not sure how beans factor in not being able to mow.  Just get one of these and your good to go.
