A nice start by Pineda; 5 hits, 2 ER's, & 9 K's, while goin 6. Some early runs, 5 in the 2nd, with 2 more in the 8th to put it away. Like the young guy throwin the heat(Graterol/100 mph) the closed too & the Indians lost, so the lead is 5 1/2.    An early game again today, 12:10 CDT, with Odorizzi getting the ball.

A 2 run HR by Adrianza in the 2nd inning & a 2 run bases loaded single, both with 2 out, by Kepler(8th) were key to the win. The pitching was probably what we'll see more of down the stretch, Odorizzi went 5 givin up 3 runs & 4 out of the pen took it home from there. The lead is still 5 1/2, on to Boston.

A nice 6-5 Twins victory to start the series.The big hits were by Cave & Sano, 5 of the 6 RBI's. Everybody out of the pen struggled some but they got it done. The Tribe gave up a late HR & lost to the White Sox, so we gain a game & the lead is now 6 1/2 games. Really enjoyed the telecast last night as they had Kaat in the booth with Bert & Dick . I get a kick out listenin to the 3 of 'em talk 'bout their early days starting out.

Yes, Kaat is one of the best.  Enjoy him while we can.  I miss baseball voices like Vin Scully and Herb Carneal.  They don't make 'em like that any more.  Cory Provus does a fine job and Dan Gladen has some good stories too, but I just miss the sound of the voices of those old timers - even going back to before they were old timers.

They lost 6-2 & Cleveland won, so the lead is now 5 1/2 games. Other than his 1st pitch to Betts in his 1st two at bats Berrios pitched better than he has in a month. Another 6:10 start, Perez gets the ball today.

I see where the White Sox already beat the Indians, 7-1 , so we can get that game back if we win the series in Boston tonight.

Twins win 2-1 tonight! The turtle drives in the go ahead run win a pinch it and Eddie throws out a runner at home plate for the final out of the game. Perez pitched outstanding for his 10th win of the year. What a game!

They lost 6-2 & the lead is 5 1/2. They had their chances just couldn't get the big hit when they needed it. Pineda pitched fine it was the young guy who throws the heat who gave up most the runs. Odorizzi goes today, 6:10 1st pitch.

I started the 5 day free trial you tube thingy last nite. PITA. Now I gotta figure out how to cancel the SOB before they take my $50. It locked up once so not sure if the neighbor was watching porn or what. Rural internet sucks people. So does our cell service. I chewed the Dish Network guy's @$$ when I was at State Fair. A lot of good it did but I felt better. 

Annaway, yup Gunner, Graterol choked. When they gave up those 4 runs I unplugged all the chit. Loved the pick off move by Littell a couple innings ealier tho. The guy never saw it coming and was a dead duck.
