Austin, where?    "Should be safe to other species".....that bothers me....I'd like to know how long/with what other aquatic species they've tested.

Ya, I hope they test it in a small area to see if it works.  Lot's of lakes have a problem with these and it would be nice to get rid of them.  good luck.
