Thanks for the video HD.   Brings back many memories.  From the many years I have had shore lunch I can say meals outdoors are the best and can't be matched anywhere.  good luck.

All da years I've fished I never had a shore lunch. I would love it if someone offered ta do all da work and let me know what exact time ta come off da lake when it's ready.
:angry2: Only problem is it would cut in on my fishin time :tut:
I know dat's nuts.

One time da MN resort owner asked if I could help um out! Seems dat his guide couldn't make it dat day last minute :doah: A party of 2 boats were scheduled wit da guide. :doah:

" Hey Lee kin ya help me out!" "I'll give ya da stuff fur der shore lunch"

:tut: "I'll do it fur ya but I ain't doin no shore lunch stuff".
I said "tell um ta bring a sandwich er sumpin and I'll give um an extra hour on da water on me!"

So dat's what we did. :happy1: Unfortunatly :doah: They kept limits of fish dat I had ta clean at days end. :doah: Not used ta dat since back home we do all catch and release wit clients. (and yes they know in advance it's CPR back home) :happy1:

It does look like fun with friends but a lot of work for guides that do it every day.  I would go the sandwich route.

Years back we stayed at White Iron Beach resort up in Ely.  We wanted to get a guide to take us through Basswood.  Didn't bring a canoe along and only had my big boat.  The owner said his high school son would do it for $50 per person for the day.  Great kid and was surprised at his fishing knowledge.  Caught many walleye's.  I was reeling in a eater and just before I lifted the walleye up a big pike came up and took it.  Walleye came off but I got the pike.  A nice 15 pounder which we released.  The kid brought us to a Island with a fire pit and a pit toilet.  He brought some fresh smallmouth bass fillets along for shore lunch.  He fried them up like a pro and had some fried potato's with it.  Went back to fishing and had a great day.  The kid also cleaned the fish for us.  I gave him a $50 tip to boot.  good luck.
