Back in the 70's Snowjet, Rupp, and Arctic Cat were the big names in Luverne where I grew up.  There were also some Chapparal's around too.

Where I grew up by Spring Valley, locally we had Rupp, Skidoo, Artic Cat & Motoski dealers & of course John Deere a little later on. It's a little known fact that the building where my office is housed presently is where Herters snowmobiles were once manufactured.

Nope, it's been in the shed for 10 years, it needs to go....
It's free...if none of the MNO family wants it...it goes to a vintage snowmobile group.

thanks HD and good to see ya!!  a funny thing happened after we left your place..  when we left there we headed north to Isle Mn..  Mike has a friend who lives there and he's also a vintage sled nut...  he also has a semi private museum of sleds and associated stuff.. it's really cool...  they talked about sleds and such and then the fellow said he better get the motors Mike wanted and some tracks...  that's when he seen the sled...  he doesn't have a snow jet in it..  now he does!!!  he will get it running and clean it up for shows and stuff and his museum..  Mike was wondering if you would be ok with that HD and I said yes I think you would be!!!

and again thanks!!!!  it was a fun day!!!   the guys name is Les Pinz and if ya want an address for it I'll post it..
