so i've been following the after the super bowl news.
1). kinda crazy watching a boozed up Brady throwing the trophy from 1 boat to another........ and now some relative of the guy that designed it demanding an apology.
2)..reading matthue not getting fined for his little verbal altercation with Brady. for the most part i think it was over with after the game.
3)...... but..winfield jr getting fined for taunting hill?????? WTF........he was penalized now fined. shouldnt from here on forward hill get fined for taunting everytime he does it....... he's been noted to do this all the time.

I heard Brady tweeted an apology to Mathieu right after the game from the locker room.

I don't know if it makes any difference from the League fine perspective, but he was pretty unapologetic about the whole thing. Maybe he if he would have said he lost his cool in the moment... But instead he doubled down and said he enjoyed it; that it felt good.
I guess a $7,815 fine to an NFL player is like a $15 parking ticket to a regular Joe.

Why should Winfield be apologetic??? Hill did it to him in the previous game. Paybacks a beech as I see it.

Seems that most NFL players are very slow to understand that the 2nd guy ALWAYS is the 1 that gets caught too.

Darn near every time. Eyes aren't on them until the second guy retaliates.

Especially when the league minimum is $610,000.

So I have nothing against Mayfield but I just read a headline about the tumultous Mayfield Browns relationship. I think when you give these new guys so much popularity with all of those commercials you are asking for trouble. They were good commercials too. Loyalties get compromised when the money flows in from two different directions maybe.

It would be funny if Mayfield got to have a "Browns Stadium Moving Sale" commercial.
And too bad the Vikes already have one overpaid .500 career quarterback on the roster.
I saw this comparison of Mayfield and Winston for Jamis' first 4 years. No one was clamoring to get Winston when Tampa Bay let him go; I doubt anyone will be willing to break the bank for Mayfield until he can demonstrate greater success on a different team.

As far as integrity Winston rates just as low as Watson. Can't stand either one of them. Shouldn't be stinking up the NFL with their sorts.

It is interesting that guys who seemingly have it all - like Deshaun Watson and Patriots owner Robert Kraft - would risk it all for the sake of getting a tug-job in an massage parlor.

Also interesting when the anti Patriots crowd move from Spygate to Inflategate to Kraft trying to get something to stick.
