Catching bits and pieces,it's somewhat comforting this trial judge is standing strong not allowing proscutors to bully, new video of Kyle just came out, pretty sure we all seen the shooting video's,but this latest, show's Kyles intent to help yelling "anyone need medical" then one policeman nearby not helping the situation can be herd yelling at Kyle "we really appreciate you guyz helping" as chaos continued in the street.

Even tho the media is quick to lable Kyle  a rogue killer,my gut tells me this trial is nothing more than another witch hunt, not one rioter/looter on trial after 50 million$ in damage to kinosha city proper, private property etc.

hopefully this kid walks and sue's the bejeus out of the media for defamation and more.

This is going to be a tough case.  And I ought to be paying more attention too.

I don't think he is a rogue killer either, but I'm not sure how smart it is to load up the ol' AR and head downtown in the middle of a riot.     Just sayin...

Check out the lastest video released before the shooting's,can't believe anything the media says these days,Kyle was on a mission to help, make a difference is my take, knowing the termoil he was walking into,he brought protection,if he had not he would be most likely dead today.as a young 17 year old man it is obvious he had good firearm training,he handled himself well, didn't panic under attack and he was attacked/assulted.

More than likely, none of us will never know all the facts. Just what the media wants us to know, or believe.

I'm not a judge nor jury. However no matter the reason it's hard to see past a guy with a loaded AR.

I question an underaged kid walking around anywhere with a loaded AR and shooting people for any reason.  Especially when he isn't even protecting his personal property.  Out of state too isn't he?  Not sure.

Recent FBI video said the kid was there to render aid,as he was a certified life guard with medical training, had his medical bag in tow, audio, one could hear Kyle yelling "friendly, friendly" asking if anyone needed medical aid while being chased and physically assulted.

earlier news that summer night claimed Kyle went to kenosha to help protect a family business as the protest turned to riot level...car lot I think, kid was entering the dragon,if he didn't have his weapon we wouldn't be talking about this today, kid had some weapon training the way he handled himself and didn't panic being assaulted.sadly cops were told to stand down as kenosha burned (50million in damages),lastest video one could clearly see cops standing idle, one cop can be herd yelling in Kyle's direction "we appreciate what you are doing"

This young man had a calling and he answer'd it,he could've turtled up like so many folks did but he chose to help, hopefully to make a difference, sure he might get nailed for a minor with a firearm, but he'll walk on murder charges, prosecutor should be ashamed of himself, his star witness that was wounded by Kyle sad he was shot after he pointed his weapon at Kyle...bad guy was a felon with a gun,yet no jail time...WTF?

One thing is for sure, once these thug's rioting realized this kid was for real, shots fired, couple dead bad guys laying in the street, thing's quieted down real quick

Kyle might have had the best of intentions, but the execution of his plan was misguided; lacking prudence and wisdom.

I was looking for a decent analogy...

He ran into a burning building carrying a bucket of water with a gas can strapped to his back.

...way too much potential to do more harm than good and the outcome speaks for itself.

Well after bad guy with a gimp right arm gave his truthful statement (video proof so he couldn't lie as the prosecutor wanted him to),this entire shete show is all but over,Kyle  might get his hands slapped but he'll walk and most likely become a very rich and alive young man.

Hopefully this witch hunt is over soon with this young man walking....Sad prosecutor even tried to nail Kyle with a curfew citation....prosecutor should be on trial for witness tampering next.

This sum's it up tight....Set and Game...

It's heart breaking watching Kyle on the stand,he completely lost it...hope he keeps his shete tight.

Normally there is a lot of drama surrounding the question of whether the defendant would testify on his own behalf - with the general consensus being that it isn't wise to do so.  In this case, its seems to be the opposite.

So, I wonder why
The guy that was wounded, is a convicted felon...why was he carrying a pistol?

This story has some good background on Gaige Grosskreutz.  It seems to refute the social-media-based claim that he was a convicted felon, but you'll also see he wasn't no choir boy neither.

I'm glad the kid wasn't convicted of homicide - any flavor.  I wish they would have nailed him on some sort of weapons charge.

I know he was only trying to help, but...

Something rubs me the wrong way about it being OK to open carry a high power rifle in the middle of a riot - regardless of which side you claim to be on and whether or not the carrier is under 18 or if the rifle barrel isn't short.

Same here, what a dangerous precedence this has set.  So now any stupid kid like Rittenhouse can walk around with an AK and shoot anyone they consider threatening? And age doesn't matter.

Biden calls for calm but says Rittenhouse 'not guilty' verdict leaves him 'angry and concerned'

"While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken," Biden said. "I ran on a promise to bring Americans together, because I believe that what unites us is far greater than what divides us."
Why should the President of the United States of America feel "angry and concerned" about the rule of law being upheld in this country's court system?

Basically Biden is telling America the jury got it wrong.  If he really wants to unite the country, why does he make statements like this?

P.S.  And apparently Biden doesn't feel obliged to apologize to a not guilty man for identifying him as a White Supremist without any justification.

"During his presidential campaign, Biden shared an image of Rittenhouse in a video he tweeted attempting to link former President Trump to White supremacists. Asked Friday whether he stands by his past criticism of Rittenhouse, Biden did not answer, instead saying he stands by the jury's conclusion."

We too were surprised that there wasn't a guilty verdict on 1 of the lesser charges.

The jury didn't get a chance to rule on the weapons charge.  The judge threw it out.  Twice previously he failed to do so when petitioned, but this last time he did.  The charge had to do with someone underage being in possession of a rifle while not hunting, target practicing, or being accompanied by an adult.  The defense argued a separate provision in the law that because the rifle he carried was NOT short-barrelled, that the charge did not apply in this case and the judge finally agreed.  :banghead:
