Not sure how much of the gopher game I'll watch but, taking a little bit of a break and watching the Penn State and Ohio St. Game. Pretty damn good defensive football on both sides. 10-6 Ohio State at the moment.

Kaliakmanis is awful. All those times across the 50 and 4 field goals and a missed one. The only thing is....Iowa's QB is worse.

i occasionally just googled it to check in. this morning seeing all this stuff about the game, and reading the comments on IDO, i was wondering what all the fuss was........... MSN had a replay of the kick return.........think the gophers need to take the refs out to Texas Roadhouse for steaks!!!!!!!!

Well you still need a quarterback in this league, unless you are Iowa. Somebody (maybe all of them) got outcoached. Was it the defensive coordinator? The offensive coordinator? All though it seemed they put up enough points at home. Was it the head coach who seems to have more hype than ability?

In any event you wouldn't expect to lose at home to a ordinary Illinois team. Kinda takes the luster off of beating a team without a quarterback.
