Coaches forever have had problems with Harbaugh from Ditka to just about every college coach that has had dealings with him.

He appears to be nothing like his brother John who has as many Super Bowl wins as Jim and may be headed to another.

Figured the P5 would pull away from the NCAA and form their own organization. Question is.....what about the sports other than football????

I guess I'm not up to speed on lawsuits that could cause the "big 5" conferences to go bankrupt.

And it does seem as if the only way to go is to institute some sort of pro league rules...

Individually negotiated contracts or base union pay scale?
Team Salary caps?
Player movement?  Scholarships?
Why even bother asking football players to take classes?

I'd like to say I'll enjoy seeing all those "Fat Cat" schools who have been abusing the system for so long get their come-up-ins, but that probably won't happen.  There's still to much money too go around and those guys know how to protect each other.  The winners in the old system will find a way to keep being winners in the new system.

      I agree with Ken. Will it just be football or will the women's golf teams, wrestling teams or the ever popular virtual teams that play video games be affected? We have discussed bass fishing and trap teams, too.
      I realize schools make money on high attendance and popular sports.

them were some friggin dandy games!!!!!!!

Didn't see the Georgia/Georgia Tech game but how the Fuskers managed to find a way to get beat given the stats was beyond me. 334 total yards vs. 164? 20 first downs vs. 5? 39:01 vs. 20:59 time of possession? I thought IA had brought back the coach's kid to run their offense again!

Ohio St. was favored over Mich. by 20.  Mich won by 3.   That is a 23 point swing.

the Georgia Tech/Georgia game went to 8 OT's. 1 shy of tying the record of 9. think that was illinois and ?????dont remember.

Of course, I watched Iowa game then flipped over to the Georgia game & watched ~ 7 of the OT's but couldn't make it to the end. Only stat Iowa won was for TO's & they got 6 pts off 2 of those. Then Kaleb Johnson broke about 5 tackles on that screen pass for their only TD. It wasn't pretty but a W is a W, that was 9 out of the last 10 over Nebraska for Iowa.
