I have had a couple jugs of Whistle Pig over the last few years. Really good stuff but quite speedy. Great in moderation.

Agree on the Pickled Loon. Overrated and overpriced for the quality. Much better when it was the Harbor.

I've have ate at the pickled loon in st cloud and was really good.

Between Emily and Outing by the little motel there is an establishment that used to be called grandma's place, now it's a pickled loon, never stopped there. I'm not one to stop and have a beer on my way to the cabin and typically when I head that way I'm more of a going from point A to point B as quickly as possible!! :happy1:

I dunno what it is about jewish deli's but they're corned beef has always been fantastic, whether  it's "kosher" or regular they're corned beef is fastastic as is everything else from a varity on daily homemaid breads to sweets they have it dialed in.I hear they're pastrami is equally good, one day I test the waters.

Growing up my folks would hit the lincoln del deli now long gone, just a memory once in a great while as it was very spendy according to my father, known tight wad after growing up during the depression era.
