Been to Target Field once.
Barely follow town team although I will take in a few Princeton Panther games a year.

was just curious. i've been to Met stadium a few times. the dome i think 3 times.....1 Viking game and 2 RUSH  concerts. never been to Target Field and probably wont.

we used to go to Cold Spring Springer games alot, but havent it a while. the field is 3 blocks from the house!!

Well it took 10 innings but they finally beat the Pirates. They are in another funk right now as they head home.

NOW can the Twins get a new hitting coach, Pleeeeease?!? 

This blog post from a month ago when the conventional wisdom might have been to give it some more time.  I'm tired of the watching the Twins squander games early in the season and have to scramble to be in or stay in the play-off hunt.

The Twins front office has been managing the team as if no one else in the division was ever going to get better.  Well, guess what...  The Gardians did.

Biggest crowd of the season yday, 35,651. Big game by Kepler, Morneau pretty much called his HR as he said it'd been 2 weeks & it was gone on the next pitch. Ober, in a 1:10 start today.

Guess I didn't check close enough as the late game was on BSNOR.   Paddack couldn't get through the 3rd, but Varland picked him up & a nice grab by Martin out in CF.

NOW can the Twins get a new hitting coach!!!

The only point in the story that matters is this......Kirilloff has to do what he needs to do to get back to the big leagues. The guy can hit but also has wrist issues. I'm sure he trusts the swing that made him a super prospect and thats the swing he needs to use. It doesn't matter what the Twins think.....if he doesn't hit he will be traded or stay in St. Paul anyway. His only path to the major leagues is by hitting the ball. His path to the Twins is becoming blocked so he needs to hit his way onto a team. I'm a big fan of his but would rather see him traded then sit in St. Paul.
