It is sunny and bright as heck here.  Not going to make the 35 they mentioned. It is 26 with a pretty good south wind.  We just went for a walk in the woods.  Didn't last long.  LOL

Let the dogs out last night about 9 and they came in wet and were only out for a few minutes.  Here it was a light rain.  I see it turned to that real light fluffy snow.  Maybe an inch or two of it.  A wind would blow it away.

Freezing mist on the way to work this morning from Cloquet to Duluth.   
Supposed to turn to snow around 4, and might get 3-5" by Sunday morning total.  Looking like the lower end of that for home. 
Still have grass showing thru the yard, which is the first time in January here that I can remember.

Took the opportunity to head down to Hinckley last Saturday and get in an end of the year pheasant hunt with my son, which I've never done so late.  Last hunt ever for my almost 12 year old yellow lab Ammo, was really nice to get him out one last time.

Drive safe if heading up 35, guessing its gonna get pretty slick up here by later afternoon.
