Muggy and Buggy!

It certainly is. Following chores, dead still. Finished spraying the nettle and thistle patches with the hand sprayer. Afterwards, filled 10 of the 12 bird feeding stations. I was just a dishrag & OMG for bugs! Just grabbed a wood tick. Gave it a hotfoot. Time for a cold beer.

Yupper, NWS throttled the rainfall amount back here for tonite to quarter to a half inch. Not sure if I should take the over or the under given their track record so far this spring. Been a while since they got it right. Herbicide sure dumped the weeds overnite. Always nice to see 3' - 5' tall weeds drooping. Best of all I can see any I missed & deal with them harshly.  :coffee:

Fertilized the lawn yesterday. Always wait till June 1 or so. Just in time for more rain.

Purty black off to our west. Looks like we'll see some action between 6:30 & 7:30. Hope roony's wrens are taking cover... :coffee:

Arrived at 6:18 & just dumped. Got back from fixing fence about 5:15. Neighbor had asked if I was gonna string wire tonite. Unlikely I told him.  :bonk:

Yes it could. Won't make the official reading until tomorrow morning but there's a hair over an inch in the gauge. We were starting to worry we wouldn't see any more rain in June after last week...
