As posted in the Good Morning thread, .54" at the ranch & .60 in Bugtussle. I too am sleeping well knowing things are back to normal. roony is still getting more rain than we do.  :coffee: The rain has definitely stopped the bleeding on the crops for the time being. It should actually help the soybeans put some bushels on if it continues to give us at or normal rainfall & temperatures for August. Soybeans have suddenly grown almost a foot this week and they're still flowering up top. Equally important, between the resulting higher humidity from rainfall & heavy dew under the soybean canopy and the large beneficial insect presence, it's keeping the soybean aphid population in check nicely. Other areas of MN have not been so lucky. Would not want to be an aphid in a corn or soybean field locally. Due to fungal disease or predatory insects, your days would be numbered.

Some nasty stuff just stayed to the north of us. Some reports of some really bad hail out there.

Kinda split in two, some went south along the border & the rest north of 14. Wind blew and that was about it.

Update: Rained hard a few minutes around 8:30. Looked like another blob grazed Waseca.

As I was driving to Blaine I kinda followed the storm that way. Got to Monticello and it friggin poured . I watched the radar and bided my time headed that way as that same system was headed right to the Blaine area

Guess st Paul and Minneapolis got smacked with some pretty good sized hail

Walked outside this AM & found a 40' tree across our driveway, right where we HAD the new trailer parked on Wednesday. Had it in the new shed instead, so I could mow today. The neighbor came over & we had 3 saws going but we still spent about 2 hours on it. Still a little clean up, for another day. The bottom 15' of the tree was dead & had ants just pouring out of it.

Sounds like us today gunner,  although this was from a storm 2 weeks ago. That system yesterday clipped me in Lake Lillian when I got off of 7 bout 4 pm. Wasn't pretty looking but I had just hard rain for a spell.  Looking in the rear view mirror she was ugly, the kid didn't want his shiny Ram scuffed so he waited til this morning to come out.

Just kind of a dribble this a.m. then a pause. A few minutes ago, was sprinkling when helping the neighbor move a water heater. Forecast for tonite in this area is 1" - 2". roony will get 2" and we'll be lucky to get a tenth... :pouty:
