Raining here & it looks like this round will be done by 7 or so. Another round of strong storms & wind, 20-30 gusts to 45, is expected by about 1.  The worst is s'posed to stay just south of us, tornado chances there. Still talking 1-2" here.

If it was about 10° and all this rain was snow, I could use my new snowblower. I guess I could use it now. I would just look real stupid running through mud puddles with a snowblower.

Funny you should mention that tt, they actually used to test IH snowblowers in Hamilton ON on Lake Ontario! Take 'em out in about 3' of water & let 'er buck! A lot harder to blow water & harder on the parts so they were given the acid test. A lot of IH #80 snowblowers still in use out here some 40 years later including mine.

So far just over an inch in Bugtussle. Center tube is just ready to overflow into the outer cylinder. Been coming through in waves for about the last hour and a half. Will be more this afternoon but looks like the heavier stuff will be tracking to the west of here.

Decent rainfall so far. ~ 1.5" in Bugtussle & .85" at the ranch. Thought maybe the gauge at the ranch was in error. When I 1st got home, there was only .35" in it. But looking at the birdbath there, it was right in line. It got filled up after I fed the bottle lamb & had a little lunch. Another quarter inch forecast yet this afternoon & a half inch more for tonite. May have to sneak back home & catch up on my Gunsmoke reruns.
