Just filled the bird feeder and good that I did.  It was snowed in.  It didn't take long as the wind was cold.  The dogs didn't dawdle neither.  We got back in the house fast. Hanging in there at -9 yet.

I went out and spread a wheelbarrow of sawdust on my trail in the woods. Filled the wheelbarrow full of firewood and hustled back to the shop. Didn't dawdle out there.

Back to the office after dutifully returning the wife's car home to her. 8 above outisde so I plugged in the dirt-burning milkhouse heater under my desk. Thought of roony warming his tootsies while napping by a nice wood burning stove. Life isn't fair sometimes... :pouty:

No kidding. Sometimes the wind here levels the playing field but not this a.m. Some wind chills overnite of -23 when the low was -6 but nothing stupid. Definitely felt colder doing chores last nite when it was above zero yet than this morning. Damn wind sucks it right out of you.

it is a heat wave and warming up this morning.  Only -13 and rising.  Was -17 when I got home.  Once it gets past about -10 its just plain cold.  I started my truck this morning and the Duramax just groaned instead of swearing at me today.
