Updated temp: Dotch pickemup therm-o-meter read 46 all the way to and from Hope. Had to turn the heat down. Didn't wanna melt the butter... :embarrassed:

Made 40 here at the ranch. Got to see the sun off & on for an hour so washed a few more windows. On to clean the ladybugs out of a water tank. Keep on marching 😉

Was outside about 8 and could feel mist on my face.  Now it is light snow.  The ground is as slippery as an ice rink from all of the melting we had.  It didn't soak in just made puddles that froze.

Was some miniature graupel here around lunchtime. Roads remain in good shape for New Year's Eve. The ditches might be a different story... :scratch:

 :scratch: :bonk: anyone else notice this??? i usually watch the #4 for news. now instead of wind chilly advisory they call it cold weather advisory....... how gay is that?????? even the weather apps are doing it!!!!!

The weather ball will soon be Lavender & Pink.

I'll be labeled a racist for this but oh well.
Anybody notice after Floyd & Covid every station has a black lead anchor? There are minority reporters everywhere also. Now I'm not saying this is bad but it just hopped off the page for me.

i dont watch many other news other then #4. i know the noon anchor , Sheila Reeves is black, but the 5-6-and 10 broadcast is still white ...with frank and Amelia, shafer and max for sports!!

the CBS evening news with Nora is mostly white with mixed race field correspondents.......and no i'm not racists!!! but i sometimes find it not hard to be with some of the other races acting the way they do!!!!!! :confused: :confused: :bonk:

I watch very little TV news or weather except Sunday morning. According to them, the TC & a few counties surrounding it are all that matter. The rest is truly just rocks & cows in their eyes. Hadn't been paying attention much but you're right dutchy. It's been happening elsewhere too in places such as the U of M, where DEI hires have accelerated as researchers have retired and they've actually bothered to fill the position or have created new ones, funneling the money to push the green raw deal agenda. That's fine but trying to decipher the info thru the thick foreign accents during presentations is challenging. It helps if they include a written summary on a thumb drive so you can try to figure out what they said later.
