Why of course! Like Erin, why would I doubt our fearless leaders, medical geniuses & insurance companies who are always looking out for my best interests? When I'm not in corn fields wearing my mask, I'm hiding in my basement just like they told me to, wearing my mask & ordering everything online from Amazon. When the deliveryman drops it off at the door, I pick it up while wearing my biohazard suit & irradiate the packages just to be on the safe side. Two weeks to flatten the curve.
Time itself is bought and sold, the spreading fear of growing old contains a thousand foolish games that we play. (Neil Young)

This is going to be with us for a while...

Aaron Rodgers breaks silence since injury: 'I shall rise yet again'

"The night is darkest before the dawn," he wrote Wednesday on Instagram. "And I shall rise yet again."

hJets coach Robert Saleh would ‘be shocked’ if Aaron Rodgers retires

“I’d be shocked if this is the way he’s going to go out,” Saleh said.

Jets File Restraining Order Against Colin Kaepernick BabylonBee  ;)

NEW YORK, NY — Following the season-ending Achilles tendon injury suffered by star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the New York Jets have been forced to file for a restraining order against former NFL player Colin Kaepernick to protect the team from his unwanted advances.

"No means no," said Jets General Manager Joe Douglas. "You'd think the guy would take a hint after a while, but we eventually had to take legal action to make him give us some space. We're not interested, dude. Please stop asking."

Kaepernick, who has been out of the NFL since 2016, reportedly reached out to the Jets after Rodgers was injured in the team's season opener. "I'm sorry that I referred to playing in the NFL as slavery," Kaepernick told the Jets. "I would really appreciate having another opportunity to become a slave and play for a racist, oppressive NFL team once again. Please? I won't do the kneeling thing during the National Anthem anymore. I'm just tired of working at the car wash."

After finding Kaepernick waiting for them at the entrance to the team's headquarters, executives were frightened enough to call the authorities. "We appreciate him being interested in us, really," Douglas explained. "We tried to break it to him that we're just not that into him. But the constant calls and texts…it's harassment."

At publishing time, Kaepernick had reportedly been taken into police custody after he was discovered to have broken into the team's locker room during the middle of the night to try on uniforms.

Funny Erin didn't make reference to walking on water. He clearly thinks he's the second coming.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers aims for potential playoff return after innovative surgery on torn Achilles

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is targeting an improbable playoff return from his torn Achilles after undergoing an innovative surgery on Wednesday in Los Angeles -- a procedure designed to accelerate the normal rehabilitation process from such an injury.

Sources say renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache and his team performed a procedure to place an internal brace -- called an Achilles "speed bridge" -- on Rodgers' fully torn left Achilles, which he ruptured just four snaps into Monday's game against the Bills. While there are no guarantees, the speed bridge protects the repair and opens up the possibility of an earlier return, sources say.

The speed bridge does not guarantee a quicker return, though it is said to enhance the strength of the repair and guard it against stretching, sources say. So much depends on how Rodgers' rehab goes and how his body responds as he turns 40 in December. If there is no reason to push the return -- i.e. the Jets are not in the playoffs -- then this would be moot.

Funny...  Robert Saleh didn't throw 3 interceptions against the Vikings in the loss that cost him his job.  :embarrassed: :azn:

No, it's Erin, always has been. She's the diva who always thought she was much better than she actually was.

To be perfectly fair the Jets fired the right guy. He was dead man walking the second that game against the Vikings was over. I'm assuming they let him ride home from London with the team before firing him. Anybody who paid any attention knew he was a coordinator only. Plus I don't think he's the guy that hired either Hackett or Erin, the guy who did that is covering his ass by firing Saleh. He also will be gone at years end if the Jets don't make the play-offs. Just a question for the masses here....if Erin is all they say he is, and Hackett is just a stooge why don't they let Erin call his own game? How could he do worse?

Well put DB. Just not sure the direction the Jets think they are going. They do have a great defense,  but I'm  like others ya just can't fathom ol Sharon Rodgers sticking around for another year, especially with that franchise.  It's gonna be a mess in before it gets better.  Although wasn't ol Rodgers around in the Holmgren and McCarthy yrs at Lambo.... Could be a factor on those guys that left town ...hmmm.

I agree with all of you.  Also, Erin is done.  He may win a few games yet but he is done.  I don't think there will be a next year.  If so it will be the last one for sure.  He may be hoping for a season ending injury to save face.  As long as it doesn't hurt too much. LOL

Jets fired Robert Saleh shortly after he decided to demote offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett: report

Aaron Rodgers, Nathaniel Hackett were in 5th season together

Jets owner Woody Johnson says he fired Robert Saleh 1 day after meeting with Aaron Rodgers

Johnson said he met with Rodgers on Monday night, just prior to the firing, but that Rodgers had no input in the decision made Tuesday morning, the owner told reporters on a conference call later in the day. Johnson also said no one had any input on the Saleh firing except for him.

Yeah, right.  Offensive Coordinator Hackett is Erin's buddy and the owner met with Erin before firing Saleh so he could rub Erin's feet.

Jets’ Aaron Rodgers Trolls Vikings Star After Pick-6/

After the interception, Rodgers told [Van Ginkel] during the second half, “Christmas came early for you.”

Van Ginkel’s response, in true Midwestern fashion: “I just told him thank you and didn’t say a whole lot. Kinda just walked away.”

Aaron Rodgers, Jets facing urgent task to fix broken offense under new play-caller; The Jets offense has been perhaps the most underachieving unit in the NFL this year

Aaron Rodgers might be washed

The blame game has to start with four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers. Up to this point, it's fair to wonder if Father Time has caught up with the 40-year old quarterback. He's putting up pretty much the same exact numbers as Zach Wilson at this point last year. This is the worst five-game start in Rodgers' career in terms of pass yards, yards per attempt and passer rating. He's also extended his 300-yard passing game drought to 27 games.

The underlying stats don't suggest a turnaround is in sight, either. Rodgers ranks fifth worst in CPOE (completion percentage over expectation) this year after he was top 10 in his 2020, 2021 MVP seasons. He also has the 11th-highest off-target rate in the league. I don't think we can use his comeback from an Achilles injury as a scapegoat.

(Kirk Cousins suffered his injury two months later than Rodgers last year, is in his first year in Atlanta and still has the seventh-best CPOE this year and lowest off-target rate in the entire league.  :happy1: )

The Jets' retooled offensive line hasn't been good, but even with a clean pocket, Rodgers is averaging 5.9 yards per attempt, fourth worst in the NFL. He torched opposing defenses with time in the pocket during his MVP years to the tune of 8.5 yards per attempt from 2020-21. Finally, only Deshaun Watson averages fewer yards per attempt (3.7) than Rodgers (5.0) with three-plus seconds to throw this year, suggesting this is far from the vintage Rodgers who could extend plays.

Rodgers' lack of chemistry with Garrett Wilson

If there was one thing you'd hope would be clicking with Rodgers in the early going it'd be his connection with Garrett Wilson. Nope. No duo has more pass attempts between them this year than Rodgers and Wilson. Yet, Rodgers is averaging just 5.2 yards per attempt targeting Wilson. In a word, that is BAD. Bryce Young averages 5.4 yards per attempt in his career. For a star connection to fall below that mark is unacceptable.

Rodgers fed Wilson 23 targets in Week 5, tied for the second most in any game since 2000, but it still just added up to 101 yards, the second fewest in a game with 20+ targets in that span. The chemistry hasn't developed yet as the timing between the pair has been off, particularly on Rodgers' patented back-shoulder throws.
