My son-in-law were out burning an old brush pile at the south end of the property on Saturday. Great weather for it. Favorable winds.
My son-in-law threw a big bunch of sticks and logs on the fire and, as can happen, sparks flew up. I thought he may have thrown a clump of old rabbit fur I saw on the fire. No big deal.
It took me a few seconds to realize that the smell of burning hair was my beard. It's amazing how fast an old fat fart can move. There were more than a few chuckles as folks watched me trying to put the fire out.
I was really looking forward to playing Santa, too. That, actually, is a lie. Won't happen. I do hope it grows back quick.

I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.
