Best all Season winter tire for a SUV

My wife has a Hyundai Tucson and I think its time for some new tires. I was planning on just rolling with the ones on it now till next summer or fall. But with her having a new job that she needs to drive about 20 mile to each way, I think she probably needs them now. Most of my online research seems to be pointing to Michelin. I know for many years the Michelin defender was always one  of the top picks. Not sure if they still are or not. I really don't want to go the Snow tire route and have to store and switch 2 sets of tires. I'm looking for a all season tire. Just want to here all of your opinions on what ones are the best. I need to get this done sooner rather than later.

I've had good luck with Good Years all season tires on both my truck and car...

I just put Michelin defenders on my wife’s Highlander, and so far she happy. Much quieter

For those on both sites you can ignore me. But for those that are not, the tire manufactures are starting to make a new class of tire called all weather it is a mix between snow/winter tires and all season they have much better winter traction, but will still hold up to running them in the summer. Several brands now have an offering, just have to check if they have them in your size. Anyone needing tires that is in the north metro I run a shop and can help you with tires and or repairs.

All season is what I do.  No way do I want to change and store tires for the next season. I have Firestone Destination ATs.  We are covering all of the brands it seems.

My 1/2 ton I run Good Years and on the 3/4 I went with Firestone Destination XTs.  I have not put the XTs through snow yet but in mud they did good.   Also not bad for noise.

Been a few years since we put tires on a smaller suv. But if I remember correctly we put Michelins on the whipper snappers Sorento,  they've treated her pretty good. My 2500's I've been all over brands,  but I dont want to hurt any feelings, i won't put another set of Firestones on a heavy pickup again , 42,000 miles is all I got.

Sure hope that is not the case.   I had Firestones on one of my half tons and they did pretty good.   I was at a toss up between Good Year and Firestones when I bought this set.

Thumper.....check out DISCOUNT tires in waite park.....they had best price, good tires and really good service. its where i got mine and at the moment dont have a clue what brand!!!!!

I've gotten about 60,000 on the Destination AT's.  Second set so hope they are as good.

I wish In could be more help on my SUV cause I'm still on the factory skins.....however, I did put new tires on the truck, Hanooks, and so far I like them a lot with no highway noise.

We had Firestone Destination ATs on the wife's Traverse. They did good in the snow and still had good life left when we traded the traverse. We had them for 2 years on that. Also ran those on her Impala. Good tires.
