I think someone might build a set of those but paint them to look like a big ketchup bottle. Just sayin.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Looking good HD. I guess whatever you use hopefully it doesn't set fast so you can move the skins anyhow. Not sure how contact cement for laminate sets up.

If it is self adhesive it will stick to your wood.  If it is a car wrap it will not stick to wood.  Either way if you were to seal them with an epoxy or urethane they will stick better....just my opinion for what its worth.

I would lay it on there with the backing still on it to get an idea where the holes going to line up.  Once lined up at the hole and all sided, tape the large side of the hole sheet down on the edges to hold it in place. Then pull the backing on the short side of the hole and roll it down with a vinyl roller and maybe a bondo body filler squeegee to get the air out and lay it down flat.  Then start working the other way, pulling the backer off as you work down it.  There are some good videos on Youtube on how to lay large decals!  :happy1:

No disrespect Leech but bondo squeegees will scratch.  A vinyl squeegee is felt tipped and will not scratch or mar the product.  I learned this the hard way putting graphics on boats.  If you need one HD let me know and I will send you a couple out tomorrow.

Yup I sanded the top and put down some polyurethane. It's pretty smooth. I don't have a squeegee

Hardly, maybe your thinking of the metal ones?  I've used these on bondo, decals and other applications for years!   :happy1:

I used to use those until I tore a graphic with it.  Then learned of these.
