Yep.... we dont do the opener anymore..... too big of a circus, and thats just the boat ramps!  Too many tourists out there the first weekend... and no waiting at the stations on the clays course!

i will be on the big pond  im going next saturday, mitch is also shooting next saturday. i have turkey hunting next friday and i will be out saturday morning for them also then we coming to shoot, im a very busy guy for the month of may

I'll be tied up the last two or three weekends in May so I have to get out... My back-up weekend will be next weekend should it rain or should something unforseeable happen...  Yep, its a busy month,  Trying to fit yardwork inbetween the fun stuff on weekends can be tough.... that must be why it seems Im always shooting with a sore back in the spring...

Hey Cody... Good news!  Theres 3 or 4 wicked rabbit stations on the next two rounds!   Yer gonna love it... long range and flying (running & hopping?) at mach 4.... maybe mach 5...   Chris was up to his ole tricks again with the not super difficult,  BUT "messing with your mind" targets,  you guys will have lots of fun!   Pat and his brother shot mid to upper 30's and I got a 40 & a 39   (not good for my 40 plus avg./goal! )  I got my punch card so I'm tempted to re-shoot that 39.... It was really windy, as Im sure ya know from being on that "big pond",(how'd ya guys do out there?) and I actually lost a few targets that dropped out of the sky, and screwed me over more that a few times...   As I always say, realistic hunting conditions!  The thing is though, not everyone will be shooting with the same handicap... oh well.  It all comes out in the wash I guess.  Let me know when you guys are gonna shoot... I may have to join ya.

we are planning on going early saturday morning like 9am. the big pond was not a great weekend fishing wise we only caught one eye and that was the one i caught. really was 26.5 inches but i messed up the measuring trying to get it done as quick as possible. good i am the conquerer of the rabbit targets now so bring them on

Cody,  I got scolded for wanting to re-shoot my 39... just because Debbie is handicapping the scores for the first four rounds, dont want our scores "TOO" decent I guess.   So good luck to you and Mitch tomorrow, but dont do too well!

Thats pretty hard to beat... Im pretty close to that with these Kemens Im shooting, though they are 1oz loads instead of 1 1/8 oz loads, Im paying 4.80. (I gave him $50 for a case)  Hey Cody, did ya get out to shoot?

I dont know if I hate it or fear it, but I think its a love/hate kind of thing... .... Nope, missed the Northwoods 200 for the first time in a while... was up at deercamp putting mineral licks out.... was gonna jump over there for a day, but decided not to.  Im still on a streak for the longest ive gone without hitting a tourney, shooting alot of league targets, 5-stand at metro and the sporting league at WildMarsh.... there's a bunch of good tourneys comming up though that I want to definatly hit.....

pout,unless it rains,I'll be @ metro sunday morning for few rounds,look for a 2009,blue chevy ecab with a golden riding shotgun,I'll be on field 5 to start,then maybe 9,10 and the tower.

I hit the shoot at river ridge today.. nice course. I think I put up a score that will get me a punch but we'll have to see if it holds up after tomorrow. on the up side I had a buddy sell me his ranger shooting glasses for 75$ with 3 lenses. I couldn't pass it up

pout mitch and i got out to shoot before our trip i think he shot a 68 and i shot a 74 or 76 so we did fairly well. i also didnt miss one rabbit target!.
