Well Bobby, I hate to inform you but, The Lodge Team domain name has already been registered under my name since we were each 1/3 of the championship 2008 team I bought out Big Slick's 1/3 ownership. You know how Big Slick was about a case of Hams. Therefore I offered him 3 cases of Hams and the rest was a done deal.

I know how important The Lodgename was to you, so I recommend that you register the domain name The Lodge Wineabees for your new crew.

Well look at that my fishing team name has been stolen from me!! I knew I should have offered more then a case of Hamms and a half a bottle of Wild Turkey to Big Slick... Hmm looks like I will have to make an appointment with the Lake Iwanttobethere lawyer who has an office upstairs of Doc Burriems. I think I can get him to help me with this problem with the case of Hamms and the quarter bottle of Turkey I have left.    Hmmmm, I do have another name in mind if needed...

I can see it now.... it will be a VH1 "Where are they Now" segment.  In 2008 the M-N-O Challenge was won by a group of older fishermen who with steady confidence moved through the ranks to finish on top.   That story has been told but the sudden breakup and the scattering of fishing poles in other direction in 2009 was a said story. Like so many other splintered  rock bands Lee Borgerson with some back door legalism took the name The Lodge and went on the road by himself. Searching distant waters he and his new members came up short and barely managed to make it back to the scoreboard and a flirting glimpse of the lime light he once basked in.

Big Slick fell completely from view,   rumors circulated that he was working in a fish market. It was the only way he could get the smell of fresh bait on his hands.  His career took a turn as he became a political commentary on the locally run cable company.  It was once written that he would have done it differently except for the offer of Hamms was to good to turn down at the time.

Bobby Bass, well still a shinning ray of hope for the fishing scene. Overcoming the loss of his beloved Lodge he resisted the urge to go commercial and sell himself to another business in Lake Iwanttobethere. Turning down repeated offers from the Car Wash, Gulp-n-Go and the Sunshine Cafe he and his new members set out to make a name once again for themselves.

The story does not end here, it is just the beginning! :fishing2:

OK, OK Bobby, I was afraid when I announced that I had unexpectedly stolen the team name The Lodge something like this may happen to you. Sorry folks, but it seems that Bobby has once again over medicated himself trying to deal with the loss of his beloved team name The Lodge.

As you can see he's started hallucinating once more and I feel somewhat responsible since I had stolen The Lodge name out from under him. To be perfectly honest I couldn't sleep all night realizing what psychological  damage could be done to Bobby after my shameless Bernard Madoff type scheme.

At this time I would like to relinquish my rights to the domain name The Lodge to it's rightful owner Bobby Bass. For some reason besides loss of sleep I've developed a rash as a result of my actions. With the name The Lodge back in the hands of the rightful owner and my loss of 3 cases of Hams Beer to Big Slick, I still feel that justice has prevailed.

Hope I can get down to her before she gets the needles out.    I want to thank Borgie for that wisp of hair she sent me for the doll.  Guess when it comes to the Challenge all is fair.

Big Bass, Big Dog, and Big A signed up as of today. Where has Big Slick disappeared to?
Could it be that those 3 cases of Hamms have anything to do with it?

Boy good news or bad news sure does travel fast. No sooner then the Lodge name announcement is made and my free code at the car wash no longer works,    I had to pay for my slurpie at the Gulp-n-Go and my wedge of apple pie was looking pretty small at the Sunshine Cafe. I did have my two free conies and my ice cold Hamms at the Lodge so all is not lost..    I sent a message to the voodoo doctor using the pizza canon from Del's so the itching should go away unless she finds out that the Wild Turkey is just a little water down.  In which case I wrote Doug's name on the back of the bottles..

Yes it has been awfully quiet around here lately. I haven't been posting for a while because I've been working on my novels  "How I led my team to the 2008 Fishing Challenge Championship."

Also I've just started another novel titled "Two Peat 2009 Championship Challenge Champs" This second novel will be full of new innovative advanced techniques that are unparallel to any systems previously known to the common man.

There will always be folks like you Hunter. They never pay attention to detail because of distractions. That's why I've decided to devote a section in my books to those that always get distracted by focusing on fantasizing as you do from time to time.

It is alright Hunter that is a very nice bass and a nice boat
