Eligibility - You just need to be a member of MWO/MNO and plan to hunt deer this year.

Teams - Teams will be chosen at random.  Teams will consist of 3 members and will be drawn on October 9th.  Deer taken before that are eligible as long as they were taken legally and a proper picture is taken.  If there are enough late sign ups we will draw more teams on October 30th.

Photos - Proof of each deer killed will be a photo submitted with the hunter, their deer, and the weapon they used all in one photo.  This is a fun contest so let’s keep it fun by being honest.

Scoring - The scoring has changed a little from last year.  Each team of 3 can register up to 6 deer submitted by any team member.  You will receive 100 points for a doe or fawn.  Bucks are worth 30 points with an additional 10 points per legal point.  Please try to take a second picture of the antlers so the judges can see the number of points.

End - This contest will end on January 31st and pictures must be submitted by 11:59 PM of that day.  Have fun, be safe and we hope to see a lot of good pictures.

Bonus - 10 bonus points will be awarded if you have MNO or MWO in your picture.  It can be on paper or on your body, I just need to be able to read it.

Why can't bucks be worth the 100 points with each antler count at 10 points per point? That way if you shoot a 6 point buck it is worth 160 point instead of only 90 points. You would have to only shoot does and fawns to make 100 points and would have to get at least a 7 point buck to tie with a doe. I know last year it was the same well kind of and I scored my doe first then used my buck as a tie breaker. This way you still get your first 100 points with a buck.

Just my 2 cents.
If today was perfect. There would be no need for tomorrow.

I am trying to avoid a tie and give people credit for shooting does.  An 8 point buck is still worth more than a doe which is why I set a buck at 30 points to start.

Guess that means I only score my does unless it is 8 points or better.

You shouldnt be shooting a buck smaller than that unless its an accident and its under 3 inches.

I like the way the scoring is set up. Let the bucks grow up. Killing little bucks is almost unsportsman like.

We are only allowed 1 deer in my area, so hopefully my wife will get one.

I also am allowed one deer a year.  so teams of 6 in the right area can really stack up the points. well unless  a team all shoots 17 pointers.  :archery:

It does not matter where you shoot the deer.  I added another month just for our neighbors in South Dakota.

Also, you can upgrade after you have registered the first 6 deer.

Well if you are fast enough to catch them and put a sticker on them I would give you credit.  I have a feeling you are not that fast though.

Ryan,
I will take my 100 pts for shooting this doe (with a camera)and 10 bonus points for the MNO sticker you requested. What kind of bonus can I get for my flash like speed in this sub zero temperature? Should be worth another 50 at least. ;D :rotflmao:
