'Pout, I'm not worried about FireRanger.  I know how to handle him.... after I take my daily duck hunting nap....'

I am hard on Red.....sometimes ya gotta kick a dog to get em goin'! He couldn't handle a microphone. He's lucky that me and the other half of 'Fin Power' wake his butt up after we go get coffee after the morning shoot :coffee:. At least he admits the 'napping' thing. He gets ornery if he doesn't get his naps in. Lord knows it don't help him in the 'beauty' category :oops1:.
But.....I do feel sorry for him, that's why I bring him along with us and show him how to duck hunt. He'll still be there on opener though, I can count on that. :drinking:

You guys gotta give me some kudos though.... After I shot about ten feet in front of that first rabbit and burried my head in my hands because I was so friggin devastated, when you guys yelled "THE OTHER TARGET!"  I actually got a shot off at the second one, and a blind one to boot!  most mortals, after missing and then throwin a mini tantrum such as I did cause they missed so bad, wouldnt have got that second one off, and probably would have chucked their gun in the ole "hull drum" there by the stand.... :whistling: :rotflmao: Capital E for effort eh?  :rotflmao:

Looks like I might be taking Red up on his invite. When you see me shoot, try not to pass out from laughing so hard :rotflmao:! I might as well be right handed and left eye dominate, one eye lookin' at the clay and one lookin' for it. :fudd:. Been duck huntin' fer years....but papa never taught me to good no how. I'll bring some sort of scatter gun. We'll see.

Welp...I figured Cody needs all the money he can get for his hunting habit..

And Busch Lite is cheap...

If it was you Thunder....I'd ask for Grainbelt Premium....  :rotflmao:

If that's a prize for winning, I concede.

I got FireRanger coming too.  He's a sucker for guns and shooting.

Still 10 o'clock start time?

We're gonna have to have a "free beer taste test" then after the shoot on Saturday... ;)  Remember, the best beer isnt free beer if you end up tasting it twice, if ya know what I mean... :rotflmao:  FireRanger, we wont laugh at you if you promise not to laugh too hard at us... ;D

I'm sure I'll either be doing this  or this  :surrender: to all of you!!  :rotflmao:. I've never actually shot clays at a range before. Always hand slung. Wasn't good at that either!

I haven't shot in almost a month so I'm hoping I can keep from dumping all over myself

That's for sure.  You aren't very talented in the motor skills...  You could throw them like a frisbee?

Yep.... same here guys... I was fully intending to get out this week to shoot some 5-stand and skeet at Metro GC to get me back on track... put it off till yesterday, had to work late... same old story... Was thinking about getting to Wild Marsh at 9am to get a round of skeet in before we shoot?  either that, or I figured we could shoot the round Im not rescoring first, then Id be ready to seek revenge on that "other" round...  training-087;) I think I like that Idea better than getting up an extra hour or so earlier just to shoot skeet.. that and save a couple o' bucks. :happy1:  OK, so T time is 10 am...?  Whos bringing what again?  I have plates... do we need utensils?  Im not bringing the gourmet chipmunk-infused beans this time(have no time) and it looks like Ill have to bring some beverages in case everyone shows up with Busch Lite. :doah: ;D  Any thing else?

I'll bring a cooler, some bottled water and other beverages :toast:, may bring the atv to haul stuff.... Damn... just remembered... I need shells! :doah:

i am bringing burgers and buns, with a cooler of coors light... i am also probably bringing 2 other buddys as well. i have to stop at cabelas in rogers so i leaving my house at 8am should be there by 9:15am. so if others would like to bring chips ketchup and mustard? thats about all thats left to bring i would say? directions are located on there site, i would just copy and paste it on mapquest and then put in your starting location. makes it alot easyer but we only have 1 person coming thats never been there before if im correct and thats HD?

I guess I would call it the south side... follow the sign to santiago.. then take a right at the gas station in santiago.. you can't miss it. well I suppose you could miss it but you would really have to be trying to miss it. also if your crossing in princeton allow some extra time as that bridge is out. I'll have to toss some extra shells in the bag a little skeet to get the gun moving sounds pretty good. i'll stop and grab something in the morning

well another sporting clay fun shoot came and left, with more fun memorys. exellent shooting, excellent burgers and hunting chat. was fun meeting everyone, i met HD and his son who is a very good shooter for his age(may not of came from his dad  :rotflmao: only kidding) met Reds friend Fireranger who showed us who really stacks the birds at duck camp  :rotflmao: met beeker for the first time, another excellent shooter with some very handy tips and of course met deadeye and his brother  in-law which is always a great pleasure...everyone did real well on some really difficult targets. turned out to be a real hot day, finally the wind picked up as a few of us were packing things in the truck. i thank everyone for coming out and shooting, good luck this hunting season and until the next time. shoot straight this season everyone

Great time!! Thanks for the invite guys....it was a great first time for me. I was very surprised as to how I shot ;D. I would love to do it again of course depending on my schedule. I realize where my weakness is when it comes to shooting. Hopefully by fall maybe Red will be able to at least pull his weight where myself and the other half Fin Power have trouble with the angles. ;).
