OK! I'll start this thing off. :whistling:

Our Team is the meanest, toughest, training-087 & most talented :censored: crew ever put together and we will not be denied the 2012 Challenge Championship.

Geez,   I almost forgot we haven't even assembled any teams yet, so I guess I jumped the gun.  Wait a minute that was the same post I put up last year. Is this 2011?  Just another senior moment!  :doah:

That would give you a score of 66 inches in the open water challenge.  That would have put you in 10th place last year.  If you are on my team be sure to read the rules.  If not post as many crappies as you like. ;D  As with every year the rookies will soon find catching the fish is only part of the challenge.  Getting a good picture of the fish so that it can be scored is the other part.  Welcome to the party cookie. training-087

We are everywhere.  I'm still a little tired from carrying Bobby's weight around last year.  I see Willy is still jealous about getting smacked around so hard last year.  Either that or he's maybe a little tired from carrying Bobby through the ice challenge.  I hope he's not on my team this year same as Bobby.  Those 2 are a smack down waiting to happen.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I am on the fence this year as to entering the 2012 Fishing Challenge, as some of you know I am planning a personal 30 day fishing challenge for June and will not be around this site much during this summer. However I can't help but to notice the General has already started to lay smack on me even though I have not signed up for the Challenge. I will address a few points. The comment about carry me. The General posted a walleye for 26 inches that season we fished together, I posted a18.75 Bass and a 33.5 Northern, you decide who carried who. Actually the Greatoutdoors carried us both.

I partnered up with Wildlifeminnesota this ice fishing contest, the guy can fish and as a team we had no problems. The General on the other hand, still has a problem, I am guessing it is because he is a lot of talk and no fish. The only way he got his name along side any fish last year is because he was a judge. So having said that go ahead and smack away General, you will be typing for yourself as I have not entered and will not be reading this thread. Good luck to the team who draws the General, hope you can catch fish because all the General will bring to the table is some old cooking oil and some smelly cheese.

You should sign up Bobby.  30 days of fishing there could be a real good chance at a monster.  You don't have to check in just slap the results down when you are done.  Those*s next to Lee and BigSlicks names on the Hall of Fame thread look pretty cool.  Don't count on winning this ice challenge.  My team is still drilling.

That seemed to light a fire under the old team ancor.  Good thing i have a strong back when carrying the likes of Bobby.   Don't kid yourself bb we all know you'll be reading every post in this here thread.     :whistling:   Bobby's doing 30 days of fishing straight?  So when he could be old and yet still some value for once he's going to slither away instead.  I wouldn't have expected anything less.  I'm going to take my ball and leave.  :campfire:

I think bb should have a mark by his name to.  Then at the bottom of the page it can read lost to The General head to head and again to Willy and again.......

Neither of those fish were and upgrade for us, that I remember, just a couple fish you posted in a loss on your side bet.

I could have posted lots of fish.  just like in the ice challenge this year, you see all those big perch, nice crappies, and sunfish in the pictures.  Guess I could have taken individual pictures and had over 100 or so pics this year to post, but being they aren't an upgrade I don't.   :coffee:

It will be interesting to see if TheGreatoutdoors will be showing up this summer.  He had a pretty good rookie year given the fact he was carrying the General and BobbyBass around like a piano.  He would have been fine had Borgie not wooped him upside the head with that seal club.  :rotflmao:

I just got off the phone with G.O. and he didn't even know the 2012 sign in sheet was up and running yet. :bonk: He also didn't know the smackdown thread was up either. :banghead: He spent half of our conversation telling me how he was going to kick Borgie's butt  training-087 this year. I think this really torqued his jaws to loose to a female tourist :taz: visiting Ely last summer. Come on! I mean wouldn't you feel like an old washed up has been fisherman  under the same circumstances?

So, the bottom line is he said in so many words "I will try to pull myself together and sign up for the challenge today" Well, those weren't his exact words but that's what he meant. ;D

PS.  :queen: say's "How do you like me now Jimmy!" :rotflmao:

There are a lot of strategies involved in winning the open water fishing challenge. Everyone is looking for that one innovative idea to give them the edge. Well, the General seems to have surpassed the rest of the pack with a cutting edge idea. He has decided to double his chances to become a winner in the challenge. :doah:

General has taken it upon himself to sign up for the same challenge twice. Hence giving himself a chance to be on two different teams in the competition. Therefore the General is now contestants #14 and #17. Now if he signs up enough times to equal 1/3 of the total registered contestants he is guaranteed a first place finish. Stay tuned to see if the General continues his sign up madness.   :whistling:

I just wanted to say in advance to my two new 2012 fishing challenge team members  ::welcome::  aboard.  This year will be an adventure that you'll never forget. I'm willing to guarantee you (whom ever you might be) a minimum third place finish. I'm holding back on forecasting a first place finish even though I know It is meant to be this year.

Now some may read this and feel that I'm just blowing smoke. We'll that's just fine with me because the doubters will be standing there with egg on their face at seasons end. Meanwhile my team members and I will be entering the MNO Challenge Hall Of Fame. :king: :king: :king:  Of course it won't be the first or last time for this humble guy. :whistling:   I've been working on our new team name. You can rest assured that the mere mention of our new and intimidating name will bring others to their knees.

Well, that's enough for now competitor's and remember.

"There is no shame in finishing behind a team with the best talent." :rotflmao:
