As I received my special yellow envelope today, i held it in my hand, like a the possible golden ticket. (willie wonka). I just couldn't open it, I had no idea what to expect. My wife looked at me an with a concerned voice said "whats wrong dear" I could barley mutter the words, "its the special signed an numbed MNO sticker for this years open water fishing contest". Ive been waiting for weeks for this coveted signed an numbed MNO sticker so i can display it proudly with the fish I post (or have posted for me). I'm so very excited! She said "Hurry up an open it" I need to see it to".
 I gently tore one end of the yellow envelope an gasp of cold air escaped with a haunting SSSSSHHHHHH. an a deadly silence came over us. She uttered  Oh No. I had to go on an I reluctantly removed the rest of the torn end of the envelope. I pulled out the sticker, an to my horror (bathroom scene in Psycho) the coveted MNO sticker was unsigned!!!!!! OMG why have you for sacken us Lee Borgersen, why!! why have you forgotten your own instructions, the instructions your posted so diligently and informative. Perhaps we will never know why. Therefore you will for ever be cast into the circle of Homer, Homer Simpson. Thus it shall be. Homer Borgersen

    I don't blame some of you for being afraid to sign up.  This years competition is shaping up to be a barn burner.  We have Walleye Guys,  We have Bass guys, we have Pike and Bass guys.  I do not even want to mention Borgie in fear that TGO will head back to his survival shelter under his porch.  Every potential game winner fish will need TWO (2) from the judges.  By game winners I mean any walleye 27" and above.  Pike 36" and above.  Bass 18.5" and above.

If you have only 25 names (8 teams plus one extra), no one should know anything about them.
If you announced the teams, many would be discouraged from entering the 2014 Challenge after seeing the "leftovers!"
Example, If DDS wasn't drawn for any team and was the "extra,"  who in their right mind would ever enter knowing that they'd be on his team, and handcuffed from the beginning because of his legendary lack of fishing skills!

   Take a good   of your fish to receive the maximum score.  Glenn57 have someone else take a pic for you.     That's the problem with the union guys.  You have to have the catch the fish guy and a take the picture guy.  Hopefully they are on site at the same time.

   That's why I signed up first.  I'm in.  If we don't get 30 by the deadline we go with what we have.  Any extras will have the option of getting their sticker money back and keeping the sticker or purchasing one for another member that meets the post requirements to round out the teams.  Everyone has the same chance of carrying TGO around like a piano or cruising to victory lane in style with my team.

 Question: So, now that Bobby Bass has signed up for the 2014 Challenge the question is? We all know how badly The General fears the thought of being defeated by a team containing Bobby Bass. Will he race to sign up immediately to show his resolve and boldness. Or, will he hesitate, procrastinate and deflate for a long period of time. Does anyone have the answer or will we have to wait to see if he can try to pull himself together as in the past.

What will it take to entice HD & Son back into the fold of Fishing Challenge competitors'.  Are we not worthy of your company or is it just that you's boys are afraid of landing on your .   In 2012 these two finished in 2nd and 3rd place. Last year they never signed up at all.   Not even a sniff from our heros last year.
 
Will these two sodbusters man-up or try to just sit back and revel about the olden days when they finished in 2nd and 3rd place?

I would think Jr. would be itching to sign up after catching that 45" Gimonstegator at Stoke's Bay last year. Maybe they are a little intimidated after getting a "WyoFish Whipping" at the beach party.
