Question - is anyone going up Saturday (or late Friday) from the cities? I would like to go up on Friday around noon and get the camp set up, but Wyofish might not be able to go up until late Friday or Saturday morning. No sense in both of us driving.

What does late Friday mean? I could depart Maple grove by 4;15 pm. It would be great to be at the camp before prime mosquito time but with Wyofish on board it may be difficult to get out of the pickle factory in Nisswa before closing time.

Truth is Wyofish is a total Wyocard (translation "Wildcard"). I suspect he will not really know his status until a day or 2 before we head up. Also I have a screen tent I'm going to bring. Mosquitos can be bad at this camp site - I once fed my daughter to them.

Just realized something, I need no generator, the campsites are standard electrical, thank the lord I'll have coffee at hand at all times. wheew! i just scrolled thru the three pages here and something really caught my attention, bacon wraped onion rings. man dose that sound good. would like to see that preperation.  1 week to go!

I know that I will be in the presents of great fisherman but is there a backup meal planned incase the fish don't cooperate. I will bring a bunch of venison cheeder brats and bread.
