Afternoon comrades! 28 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-30's. Auntie Mar Mar & Unkie Gregory were here this a.m. to exchange Christmas gifts. I got cookies, a coffee cake & a box of 9mm ammo so nobody better mess with that coffee  cake. Poppy was pulling the stuffing out of the Gumby toy they gave her within an hour. Thinking we should hire her out as a dog toy tester. Thinking I should take a nap later & wake up around choretime. 😴

Morning boys.  I lost again so I am making coffee again.  Bob is on my lap reading what is going on here too.  Sucks that we lost again.  Oh well that stress is over for the year.  Think I will change the water filter today for a good time.  It is 32 here.  Gotta like that.  Later

Mornin' comrades! 35 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 30's. .02" of rain in the overnite at the ranch with more on the radar. I see we're slated for another snowstorm of sorts Wed. so may want to entertain thoughts of putting the blower back on the 656. At least I shouldn't need to use the propane torch to thaw the hydraulic couplings so I can connect them. I suppose they'll try to make those torches illegal too!  :doah: Better run. Wife is whiny this a.m. Therapy at 12:30.

Morning boys. 26 here and looks like that will be the high for today. Don't think we got much for snow overnight. But the way it was misting last night I am guessing the roads will be slippery this morning. Need to bring the Wifey's ride in for an oil change after work today. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin boys, we had 32* @ 1st peek & we won't go up much from there. Some snow overnight again here but pretty sure it's < 1" total for us. Need to check on that in a bit & got a couple other little things on the list too. Have a good 1.

Morning boys.  27 here.  We got just a touch of snow last night.  Have to hit the post office today and that's about it so will be a slack day.  Will go fishing later on this afternoon.  Have a good one.

Mornin peoples 33 now and probably not much more than that. They say we got a 1/2 " of rain yesterday,  between that and 38 degrees it looks we lost around 6" of snow pack. Made a few bottles of hot sauce yesterday,  think I'm gonna smoke some peppers and do a few more today. Bout it....See ya!!

Mornin' comrades! 31 at choretime which will likely be our high as temps are already tapering off a degree or two depending on the reporting station. .38" of precip at the ranch between the rain that fell yesterday and light snow overnight. Delivering some belated Christmas gifts from the ranch to several of those who have been kind to us over the past year and in particular since the wife's ankle debacle. Also collecting some prepay for the upcoming growing season. Potential significant snowstorm heading our way Thursday so should grab a smallish round bale for the yearling ewe lot before reattaching the snow blower. Busted the grain troughs loose from the ice with a pickaxe last nite. That was a workout on top of everything else. I could sleep for several days and still not get caught up. 😴

It was slick when I got off work in Mankato last night. By the time I got home it was still rain. Our place seemed to be right on the rain/snow line. The slush was thick in my driveway so I was out there at 6 this morning to push some of that around. Could be more tomorrow night.
Have a good one!

Just got in from taking care of the bird feeders and the slop the city piled up in the driveway. Surprised they did that I expected a rough street till spring.

If the north country got this wet rainy crap, the deer could be in trouble once this stuff freezes hard!!

Morning boys. 19 here and that looks to be the high for today. Started getting me a cold Sunday evening. It seems to be in full swing now. Not a terrible one, but enough to feel kinda crappy. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.
