Morning boys. 13 here and heading for 20 today. Fishing started out real slow yesterday. Didn't get my first bite until after 10. But then came in with my 6 augers at 2.  So we had fish tacos for supper last night. Well, getting ready to head back to the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Twas a slow drive home on 14 from Kato last evening around 8. Just the right temp to make things very slick. In some areas the speed was down to 25 mph. There were 4 in the ditch along the way. I was glad I wasn't one of them.
Have a great day all.

Mornin boys, 34 & foggy down here, we may make it to 37 later. We had quite a bit of thunder & lightning last night starting around 8. A couple short bursts of some pretty heavy rain as well. Took a peak at mikey's snowmap & it looks like a lot of I 494 on the west side is reporting 4-6" on the ground. I'm certain the temps overnight didn't improve conditions any either. So, I'm glad we made a run for it yday. More windshield time today, as he's got a 9:20 appt tomorrow so we'll go down early this afternoon. No more now, have a good day.

We cut our run short yesterday, only 80 miles. Looked outside it appears to be more of a "nuisance" snow outside than anything else. Just enough to put the plow on the truck and drive around the yard for 30 minutes. Better go, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  It is sunny here with a north wind. +12 now and may get into low 20's.  Well I got the tracks on and got the fish house up by shore.  The snow is pretty soft there so that is where it will sit till it thaws more.  I have had a bug the last few days.  Kind of a scratchy throat type of thing.  Will take it easy today since I am all caught up on my projects.  lol

Mornin' comrades! 32 at choretime heading for a high around 34. ~1.5" of snow at the ranch, melted out to .32" of liquid equivalent precip. Roads are sloppy & traffic by here is moving slow. If the slush grabs you as roony pointed out, you can wind up in the ditch real fast. Must've been a rough weekend as we haven't seen the People's Republic of Steele Co. snow plows out yet. No newbies in the overnite. Won't be too many more, only 2 or 3 ewes to come in yet. Need to get some cracked corn ordered and decide what the best way to get it will be. It's about a 30 mile hike round trip with a gravity box behind a pickup. Costs some money to have them deliver it but it might be worth it in light of everything else. Hafta see...

Good morning all.   Hope everyone had a great weekend.   31 and sunny with a stiff north wind up here in the North Country.  Working on a boat remodel so plenty to keep me busy.

The wife ordered Cooper another "indestructible" toy and gave it to him at lunch time.  Was in two pieces before we were done eating.

We have a donut shaped plastic thing that is indestructible.  A blue plastic type of stuff.  Had it since he was a baby and still good as new.  I have always wondered if that was what you call a Kong brand.  I will do some shopping.  lol

My Son has a LARGE Shepard who destroys about everything you give him.  Lawn mower tires have worked and elk antler chew has worked as well.    He cannot have large knuckle bones because he crushes them and they splinter.

Morning boys.  -6 here.  We will call that a fluke.  LOL  Gonna get in the 20's today.  I need to hit the grocery store for a few things and then I am going to make a tuna salad.  Nice to munch on.  Not much else going on so mayhaps I will start reading again.  Haven't for awhile now.  Have a good book too.  Are you putting a new floor in that boat Scenic?  You all have a good day.

Glenn I read the other day that Holst on the IDO site sold the business and won't be doing anymore fishing shows.  Got an offer he couldn't refuse.  He will still be involved in the business it sounds.

Have to do some paperwork things today to get ready for our meeting tonight. Might be a four cup morning. Got all of my steel prepped for welding table yesterday. 45s cut, holes drilled and tapped for wheels. Just need to put it all together now. Less clutter on the bench then. Have a great day all, later... :happy1: :happy1:
