Mornin guys, 3 now & we should see 29 later. Think I'll put the blade back on the wheeler today, just in case we need it tomorrow or Monday. Pretty easy, just line it up with the bracket on the bottom of the frame & putting the pins back in. Got a little TLC in mind for the mower with the battery already in it too, as long as I'm out there. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Morning boys.  3 here and we should see 28 I think.  I bet I could drive the Ranger anywhere I want on the river.  The wife said you go ahead and go I am not leaving shore.  LOLOL  She is the best.  We may head over to the Falls today and have brunch at the Chocolate Moose.  Kind of fun to eat there.  Probably do some shopping whilst there too. You all have a great Saturday.

Been getting some skim ice here the last couple mornings too. Don't think it's locked back up all the way though but with the colder temps & no wind it hasn't been melting much the last couple days either.

May try to burn two small brush piles seeing how there's snow on the ground. We'll see. Might be about a four beer project. Thinks I'll back the plow truck in the garage later too so it's ready to blast out the door on Monday morning so my bride can get to work. Oh well, just got marching orders from her to clean up my stuff, Easter is here tomorrow. Later....... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 10 at choretime heading for a high in the low 30's. Broken sunshine so far. Storm potential looking less ominous. 3" - 6" of snow with .25" - .5" of rain Monday. Gotta make a feed run then go from there. Could be watching some hoops in my future & making sure the tractor is ready to rock just in case. Think I'll punt on putting the blower on based on the forecst. Wife might want me to see if there are any more pussy willows. The flower shop blew thru the 1st two buckets pretty fast. Dread hearing those words markn when hiding is no longer an option.

Good morning All.  Lake froze over last night.  Few more days and we should have first spring ice.  If we don't get snow it might be fishable in a couple days.   Forecast is for 1-78" depending on who you listen too.   Have a great day all

Morning boys.  It is 12 here and could see 35.  I see the snow is still south of us. We still could get 1-3 today and even more tomorrow.  We shall see.  I woke to the smell of pine sol so the dogs and I are hiding out in the office with our coffee.  The wife is mopping the wood floors this morning.   :happy1: :happy1:  I have 3 big beef ribs I am going to put on the smomer today.  Will see if I can get the nice and tender.  Should be fun whilst the snow is falling.  Oh Oh what if I track onto the newly cleaned floor.  This may be a stressful day.  LOL  Well have a good one and don't over shovel any of you retired guys.

Morning boys. 13 here and heading for 30 today. No fishing today. Just need to go get my fish house and bring it back to shore. We had fun fishing yesterday. Caught some nice fish and my buddy was able to take home a good meal to share with his cousin. Felt kinda nice to just hang out in the recliner this morning. Will do firewood and maybe go for a ranger ride this afternoon. Have a good one boys.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 24 at choretime heading for a high in the low to mid 30's. So far about 1" of snow, melted out to .1" of liquid equivalent. Wind has picked up. Moved the tractor around after chores so if it plops a drift where it usually does with a SE wind, it can be dealt with more easily. Otherwise just keeping the barns bedded & critters fed. Poppy likes weather events. More people time & napping on the couch.

We (the wife) gave Jake a shampoo last night.  He was getting pretty rank.  Trimmed his toenails today and got a bale out to Bucko.  He has two now so he is ready for the storm.  SO Dutchy, have you heard what may happen with the ol grocery store and liquor store in the Menards building?   Was going to ask the other day when we were there but forgot, the wife had me so busy.  LOL We kind of miss the Kmart so a store like that may work??

Morning boys.  The weather is the subject today.  As in nothing here.  Got all of our projects done this weekend so can take it easy today. Still may get to use the plow truck one more time later on.  LOL  The beef ribs turned out pretty darn good but forgot to take a pic cuz I was so hungry by the time they got done.  Oh yea it is 22 here and will see 27.  Got to 39 yesterday.  Well have a good day and take it easy shoveling.

Mornin boys, 26 now here & we might hit 29. 'Bout the same as Scenic,1.5-2", for snow total so far but the hourly doesn't have it being done 'til mid-day tomorrow. I'll probably suit up & run the Grizzly down the driveway sometime today. 'Bout it here, have a good day.
