There! Got the sliding glass door thawed out much to the chagrin of the squirrels... :coffee:

I was wondering too how you were getting around Scenic. That's gotta be tough.

Crutches and I did get a chair after having words with the insurance company.  They indicated that a walker would be a better alternative  Unless I absolutely have to im pretty much holding the recliner down.

Afternoon peoples,  was -1 this morning and ripped all the way up to 12, sad part is it doesn't feel all that bad outside.  Didn't make it to ma and pa's the otter day so we went earlier.  Had a great visit then headed over to the whipper snappers place to help her hang a t.v. on the wall, worked out good, only 1 trip to Ace and it was hanging..lol.  Anywho probably gonna binge watch more Ozark this evening hoping to finish it, talk about lots of twists in a flick and boob's glenn.. :happy1:.....See ya!!

Ya Scenic, hearing about your crutches & wheelchair, I'd forgotten how much borrowed stuff there was here for a while. A good friend had been thru a bad 4 wheeler accident so we had her wheel chair, crutches & a shower stool. Canes from the neighbor & my Mom's place. Stroller from Krause over in Hope that she really liked once she could put weight on the leg. I had to ask today where our knee scooter got away to. Bought a used one for her because it was about half the cost of leasing a new one. It's been passed around to a half dozen people since then. A lot of gimps in these parts. :coffee:

There's a place in waite park you get stuff like that no charge. It's been stuff donated. They told me once you get it, it's basically yours. We've always donated back when my wife was done with it

Early start today, felt like crap yesterday which involved several naps. New meds????? Not sure yet. I haven't looked at that new trailer because we can't get together at the same time. I'll try again today. Other than that just staying warm and currently watching Tulsa King. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin all, we have 8 here (-9 WC) & we're headed for 15. Did get in some treadmill time yday & I was reminded of why I don't like doing that on the weekend. Too many people!! :bonk: I've got a load of clothes in the washing machine going already so that'll be priority #1 after some breakfast. That should keep me kind of busy until it's almost NFL time. Have a good day.

Morning boys.  We have -13 and should see +1 before the day is over.  Gunner, I suppose you get tired of all the chicks staring at your hot body whilst trying to get some exercise. I feel for you. LOL  I got the dogs nails trimmed yesterday and then we each grabbed a vacuum and cleaned every inch of the house.  Our dogs have always been so easy to trim nails.  I love them up and give them a treat after done so they both lay down and want to be first.  It is so nice to see Jake like it.  Cooper is great about it too.  The wife has to hold Jake or he keeps butting in on Coopers time.  Gonna make a nice meatloaf today.  Looking forward to it.  Other than that keep the fire going in the shop and wait for football.  I sure wish our game was during the day.  Oh well I will adapt.  You all have a good one and don't end up like Scenic.  Hope you are doing well Scenic.  GO VIKES!!!

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 2 above at choretime heading for a high around 12 above. More lambs yesterday while trying to do putz projects. A few complications with the one ewe. Could've been a Dr. Pol episode. Some warmer temps would help. Did get the hay stacked I'd stashed in the barn the other day. More of that to do today. Hopefully the sheep take a few days off here. Sometime today a nap could break out. 😴

Morning boys. -8 here and supposed to make 6 above. Well we were able to get my buddies wheel house back across the crack yesterday. It was closer to 8 feet wide by then. The colder it gets the wider it gets. The new ice was probably 4"-5" thick. When it warms up later this week it will probably push close. Well, that was a sad performance last night by the Vikes. Otherwise just getting ready to head back to the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Had to turn game off at 24-9 last night with five minutes left. Hopefully I get to go to Little Falls today for that trailer. Stopped at Harbor Freight yesterday and grabbed one of them $24.99 cordless drills they had on sale. Last one they had. Good enough to drill pilot holes in wood for screws. Tired of splitting it. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  We have a cold -12 but may get up to 10.  We shall see.  It is sunny out.  I too turned the game off with about 5 minutes left.  GRR.  Made that meatloaf yesterday and it turned out great!  I will post a pic but it is not real flattering.  Should have put it on a plate to look as good as you guys pics.  That will give us leftovers for a few days.  The wife did a lot of cleaning and we threw a bunch of stuff away.  Things that I used to think were real cool but not anymore.  I asked what of yours did we throw away.  She said I put my stuff in the other spare bedroom so I can go through it better.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  Didn't hesitate throwing my stuff away.  Like 5 boxes of crap.  Oh well good to get rid of it if I don't need it.  Well stay warm and have a good day.  We have a couple inches of snow on the ground but I am leaving it as traction cuz it is slippery below it.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 2 above at choretime, heading for a high in the upper teens. What is this thing called snow you speak of Barry? Interesting snow depth map presently. Not missing it especially after Scenic's predicament. Hauling buckets of water across the ice on a slope is overrated. Got the hay unloaded & tucked away yesterday, filled the water tank while doing it, then plucked enough hay off the round bale with a pitchfork to keep the yearlings occupied. Needs to warm up. This doing chores 2x a day in the cold plus all the additional trips to the barn in between gets old real fast at my age. No nap yesterday either.

I would guess that we have a foot or so???   Now when it is this cold I split Buckos grain in half and feed him morning and night.  Usually it is just late afternoon.
