What's on the stove, oven, or crockpot today?

Update:  Now the onions and carrots have sat for a day in the brine.  I sliced the carrots thin too.  Like I said this stuff has some kick to it.  I like it but the next time I think I will do 1 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of water, 4 TBs of sugar, 1 TBs salt.  I see some go 50/50 with vinegar and water so will try that.

i just picked up some hot Italian rope sausage from the store...... seems like it tasted old. they had a really good italian bulk sausage but there farming all that out now cause they cant keep help!!!

made them from scratch, was gifted some italian seasoned venison, about 1 1/2 pounds, added 1 pound ground pork and seasoned it up and of course some cheese in it...  excellent flavor!!!  and tenderness!!

I don't buy much premade ones...  they can be iffy for sure

Wild Rice and Pheasant Soup.....with Ham, Potatoes, Carrots, and Onions.

I use Shore Lunch Wild Rice Soup Starter package. And add all of the above. Plus a cup of precooked wild rice.
