We talked about a prime rib over new years. Tonight though it was spaghetti,  cottage cheese and garlic cheeses bread. Thought of you lps as I stuck a noodle to the wall to see if it was ready, momma wasn't looking so it worked perfectly.  I'm stuffed..

Last night I browned up some ground pork and beef.  Then added carrots, celery, corn, green beans, onions etc and made a nice soup out of it.  Lots of seasonings too.  Beef stock, soy sauce, liquid smoke.  Winged it and turned out pretty good.

The local store had pork lions on sale last week so I grabbed one. Ten meals, $18.00 and 30 minutes of my time to cut, pack and in freezer.  :happy1:

It was Eldons Mike, not sure if they still have them, probaly not. $1.99 a pound. Packed them two per pack. Next time I'll give you a shout. They also had brisket for $6.99, wasn't too sure if that was a good price. I've never done one. Hope Santa was good to everyone last night. All he brought me was a grumpy wife this morning.  ;) :rotflmao: Another few chores from me and she'll be happy as a clam shortly. Later... :happy1: :happy1:

Momma made the ham, betty crocker the taters and fresh pineapple. No KATCHUP was harmed in this meal. Horseradish took a beating though.
