nope!!!!!!!!!! i usually get a fish batter from up around deer river. a guide makes it with wild rice. i tried and kind of liked fry magic. i still like plain flour with a few seasonings added the best. i also add some floor to the other batters to, to lighten the potential strong flavor!!!!!!!

by the way dew........you get my email wit da fish we caught??????

I usually use Uncle Wayne's fish batter from Homestead Mills out of cook,Mn. You can use it either as a wet batter or a dry mix. It also makes a pretty good onion ring batter.
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

Boobers, I don't buy shorelunch either, just asking if anyone has used the baking version? Or should I ask is any batter good to use for baking fish?

I like to bake my fish now and then.  I usually just butter them and spice them up or maybe even put some thin onion slices in the pan with them.  OR olive oil.  Or some grated cheese.  Lots of options.  Easy too and not such an oily mess.

Take some flour, add seasoned salt, pepper, and mix in a couple big handfuls of finely crushed seasoned salad croutons...... :happy1:
