So true Dotch,  I've been bit by wasps but they usually don't bother ya unless your close to the nest. Them friggin Hornets are flat out nasty,  sure wish I took a pic of the basket ball size nest hanging in a tree lakeside,  she got burned down...

I have an empty one I found a few years ago in late fall...   cut it down and my wife did her stuff to it.. still hanging here in the house!!!

When I was about 10, I was out pheasant hunting with my dad, brother, and uncles. Late October or early November. I found a really big nest on a willow branch and broke it off so I could take it to school for show and tell. All went well until the warm school room woke up the critters inside and they started exploring their new environment. I was immediately ordered to take it outside snd far away from the playground.
That may have been the beginning of a really tenuous relationship with teachers that lasted for another seven or eight years.

I seen on bookface the other day a meme similar to the one HD posted about the beer cart

This one had 2 game wardens glassing a lake. One game warden said to the other.... Don't worry about that guy, he couldn't catch covid in wohan.  :rotflmao: I about peed myself and thought of boar immediately.
