Get ready. Any bets in a few years the average Joe NFL fans aren't going to be able to watch their local teams, unless it's pay for view!  Sounds like their greasing the wheels now.  There are 5 international games this year! ☹️

"The NFL will play a regular season game in Madrid, Spain in 2025, as the NFL prioritizes global growth and expands the International Games to new cities and markets around the world."   :pouty:
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!

Been worried about that coming for a few years.  It is starting with the Peacock BS.

Yup me too.  As big of a fan as I am if they don't let me watch it free I won't.  I won't buy anymore shirts and hats neither.

Glad we have a lot of windows and a great view.  I go down to the river at halftime.  You are right.  Hard to miss this nice day.

This NBC half time show is pathetic. Other than a pair of long legs there isn't anything worth seeing there. I caught glimpses of the pregame and I'm not sure thats much better.

We like the Fox pregame show.  Did I say this already?  This is the first time since 2016 that the Vikes have started 2-0.  That is hard to believe.

Fox pregame is fine, but Terry is getting a little long-in-the-tooth to be a hype-man.  Just sayin.

As far as new-comer's go, I prefer Jason Kelce to Gronk.  It seems to me Gronk struggles delivering the key points the the producers give to him to say.   Kelce is a natural and seems more at ease being himself.  He reminds me of Tony Siragusa.

I was reading a book and stayed awake to watch Kirk manage a game winning drive to beat Philly last night.   Funny as heck.  Always fun to see Philly lose.  Good for Kirk.

Yep..  Jerry Jones payin CeeDee Lam and Dak all that money...  Terrible offense two weeks in a row at home.

Plus, it kinda feels good to see Zim's defense get gashed 2 weeks in a row too (especially after Zim went scorched earth on the Vikings in the press when he took the Cowboys job).

Especially with Zim's D inability to stop the run. They're dead last in the league against the run with 185.7 yds/game & 557 total run yds allowed.  It's hard to score if you don't have the ball!! The Vikes #'s are 71.3/gm & 214 total, which is good for a tie for 2nd best with the Steelers, & behind only the Ravens. :happy1:

Its going to be really fun to contrast Zim's success (or lack thereof) with Brian Flores'.

Zim does really good with a defense when he has a GM that gives him all players he asks for.  But that wasn't Rick Spielman at the tail end of their Vikings tenure, and it ain't ever goona be Jerry Jones either.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  Prove me wrong, Mike.

Kapt. Kirk Cousins and his Falcons were jobbed by the officials last night and lost the game to the Chiefs 22-17.  Cousins let the team on a 15-play drive down to the 6 yard line.  On 3rd and 5 he threw a pass to Kyle Pitts.

This, according to the officials on the field, did not warrant a pass interference call.

And Taylor Swift wasn't even at the game.   :coffee:

Wasn't it stuff like that that made pass interference challengeable? Or did that go away and I missed it?

 That being said, even if the officials had thrown the flag on Cook, there's no guarantee that the Falcons would have won. If the officials had thrown a flag, the Falcons would have gotten a first down at the 1-yard line with about four minutes left in the game. If Atlanta had scored a touchdown, they would have gone up 23-22 pending the extra point (They likely would have gone for two in an attempt to go up 25-22). At that point, the Chiefs would have had well over three minutes to drive down and take the lead, so Kansas City certainly still could have won even if the flag was thrown, but the fact they got the benefit of bad no-call definitely drew the ire of everyone in Atlanta.   :taz: We all know what #15 usually does in spots like that.

Just had to bring up Zim's D.  LOLOL   That was worst at home loss since Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys in 1989.

I was just typing up the same message when you posted yours, LPS.  I'm sure it will be McCarthy's fault.  Or he'll take the fall.

I don't feel bad for Zimmer or Jerry - Zim going scorched earth on the Vikings trying to prove he still got it in Dallas.

And Jerry thumpin' his chest over getting the CD Lamb contract done when his son couldn't close the deal.  Dak was still under contract this year.  Jerry spent the whole offseason reminding everyone of that, implying he was going to make Dak EARN his next contract THIS season.  How's that workin' out?  :doah:

You can't make this stuff up!   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

The Cowboys organization, during the worst homegame loss in the Jerry Jones era, saw fit to blur-out the score when they posted the fan attendance on social media.

Think that's goona help?

Inquiring fans, who want to know, also looked back and saw the Cowboys did the same thing on Sept 22 for the Raven's loss and posted an angle of the scoreboard where you couldn't read the score for the Sept. 15 loss to the Saints.

(I'm sure glad I don't post stupid stuff on social media.  ;) )

 That Bear's DB that was talking to the crowd yet when the play got started might be lucky if he's still on the team tomorrow. :tut: The replay shows that he was the 1 who jumped up & knocked the ball up in the air so the Washington WR could catch it too.

To me that particular Hail Mary defense was over-talked.  Everyone was saying what the defense should have done...  Coulda-woulda-shoulda.

Yeah, someone should have been on the receiver, but wasn't.  They were all going for the ball.  As a defender, you're supposed to catch it or knock it down, or draw offensive pass interference, right?  Wait.  No, they don't call those penalties on the last play of the game.

And the guy who tipped it...  The ball is coming to him, but he is in the wrong spot to knock it down, ya gotta make a plan on the ball, right?  What if he didn't do anything because he didn't think he could catch it or bat it downward, and there was a receiver behind him who jumped up and caught it?

Was a heck of a play.  I laughed my azz off.  At least one team in our division lost a game.  Other than us.
