Normally ice fishing really takes off between Christmas and New Years. Since things weren't fit then I think some are just not going to get it done this year. That's ok, give the fish a break.

over on IDO there's a thread going about extending the fishing season so resorts can recoup some business.........yea i stayed out of it!!

I agree.  A bit less pressure does not hurt a thing.    I stayed out of it on IDO as well.

I think it's funny that glenn stayed out of it! 

Lotsa little snow squalls blowing thru the area here today. Fine, blowing snow so you can only see ~ 1/4 mile then 5 minutes later the sun comes out. Looks like our temp topped out around 5 as advertised and was down to 3 a little bit ago. Noted the 1st portable I've seen about 1 p.m. on St. Olaf. As far as fishing pressure there, the fish usually don't bother people a lot.

Yupper, think I'm done hauling hot water to the main barn for a while. Sustained winds today in the mid-20 mph range, gusting to 35. Makes it easier to drink coffee & stay under the blankie a while longer.
