Getting some light snow now, looks like that should be done in about an hour. S'posed to get more serious again ~ 3 or 4. The WSW we're under is still saying 8-14" by the time it's done. Put the blade back on the Grizzly yday morning, so we're as ready as we can be. Sounds like it will be some wet heavy stuff, so take it easy movin it, everybody.

There's 3 big areas of pink on 511 now & a smaller area up by McGregor. Waseca, Montevideo, the Alexandria areas are the bad spots already.

Got ~1" of snow overnite here with a lull since early a.m. A bunch of stuff south of here moving this direction. Looks like a potential for mixed precip so best put the gauge back out soon. 2" - 4" of snow for today with 3/4" - 1" of rain anticipated tomorrow.

It is 27 here with not much wind.  It actually went down from earlier.  Calm before the storm?  The sun is shining but the dark clouds are just south of us.  Can almost see a line drawn where they are.

Been snowing here for a few hours. Little flakes. Not much sticking on the street yet although it looks to be getting slushy out there.

Looks like we picked up another 1 1/2" or so of wet snow. A little break in the action with some mixed precip headed this way out of IA. Should get here ~4-ish if it holds together.

Update:  Up here on the Canadian Border it is 39 and back to sunny.  We can see the clouds south of us yet.

its a light snow here now........but i took a close look at what the terrorists are saying.......sounds like hte worse will be later today and into the overnight  guess we'll find out. i might go out and clean off whats here!!!!

 A really fine snow here, school closings over around Duluth down to about Moose Lake started going across the TV screen just before 3. The hourly looks a little different, but the WSW does not.

Cleaned off the patio an our ago, 2" tops. But it's not sticking to the driveway or the road. Hopefully it stays that way for tomorrows work adventure.

 just got in from cleaning up whats there.....its sticking to roads and everything. got what was there cleaned up. maybe 2 2-1/2 inches. started coming down as grapple.
