82 is the latest forecast high today. Rain moving in tomorrow altho best odds are not until after lunch. May be able to put some radishes & lettuce in the ground ahead of it. Sounding like somewhere north of an inch of precip for the weekend. Hopefully not much snow. The upcoming week looks messy with mentions of rain/snow mix and much cooler temps Tues. - Thurs. Highs in the 40's & lows in the upper 20's to low 30's.

It's 77 in Waseca right now so we're in striking distance.

85 in Owatonna presently. I think he'd be better off going to the grocery store & sleeping on the flour pallet mattress in the back.

WOW!!!  That must be a record Dotch.  We are sitting at 33 and just rained again for awhile.  Looks like it was enough throughout the day to clean my truck up pretty good.  :happy1:

The Duluth news @ 6 said they had so much sleet over south of Cloquet that I-35 was completely covered making travel hazardous, so they called the plows out. There was a report of 1/2" hail over there too. Had an ice storm warning for St Louis, Carleton, Lake & Cook counties go across the screen about 4 today too & that's in place until 1am tomorrow. We've been pretty dry here since around 3:00 or 3:30.

Lookin like the south shore of the big lake might get it today. WSW over there that says 3-8" of snow & sleet, up to .4" of ice, & 35 mph winds.

I was in Duluth and Superior yesterday. There were some pretty good sized waves rolling in. Saw a couple of people in wet suits out there , but didn’t see any surf boards. Glad I outgrew ideas like that.
And yes, the weather was pretty crappy. Light rain and wind in the late morning/early afternoon, turning to steady harder rain for a while with stronger wind. Went into the Anchor for a burger and beer with light rain and came out an hour later with sleet/graupel all over everything. Driving away, the first twenty miles were pretty ugly.

Is the Anchor in Superior?  We stayed at Barkers Island years ago to do a Duluth Sport Show weekend.  Was a good time.  The couple in the room across the hall were doing it like gorillas all night long.  I mean across the hall and we could hear them all night.  I heard knocks at their door a couple of times and they went right back to rutting.  LOL   SO the next morning as we are checking out I was checking out the couples wondering who was who.  LOLOL
