anyone here grow and/or make there own horseradish?????? been doing this for about 30 years. well maybe 25. been grown my own for about 18 and have 2 different patches. simple reciepe of
horseradish roots
vinegar
lemon juice
 little salt, and
 :toast
also helps immensely to have a motor operated grinder!!!!!!!! :whistling: :whistling:

Hopefully Ill get some more tops, might have to buy some roots, wierd winter though first time ever my garlic that I plant in oct after tilling the garden also didnt come up.  I read somewhere that year old roots are the strongest for Horsey radish is that correct??

I started my patches with the tops and the small roots to small to clean. I gave some older roots to a friend and he said they where doing good. I've seen roots for sale seen pretty spendy to me????

 My older brother makes horshradish.  Here are some develed eggs. Yum yum

go by taste. it doesn't take much. depending on how many eggs one does> we did a dozen about 10 little drops........again put a little in then test it till ya like it.
