Already saying schools will be closed, for the 11th time, tomorrow....... :doah:

He's screwed, too. We all are. The snow out front is almost up to my chin; there's nowhere to blow it anymore, it just rolls back down "the mountain". Tomorrows storm will take us over the 70" mark, which is what we were at in 2013 when we had the big Spring floods. Sat and sunday will put us over that with whatever that one brings. This kinda stops the kidding and really has people worried here...and I'm one of 'em. The 2013 floods were when I put in the sump pump system and it could barely keep up. It's not like in the country where it can at least blow out and around a bit, (and ya, I know how bad that is) but it gets "concentrated" and piled up here with nowhere for it to go.

Heard the same on WCCO early this morning. Tomorrow's  :tut: Saturday's , he wouldn't even put any snowfall totals on the weekend 1 yet.

That's not good Rebs. Unfortunately we have no control over mother nature. We are getting lucky up here. This one is going to stay south of us and I haven't heard anything about the weekend one yet.

Why am I joking about it?!   :bonk:  :banghead:

This is why I keep an extra pair of blower skid shoes on hand....just put these on last winter, worn thru and toast already. They used to be $12 a pair; now best I can do is double that at Menards house of Bargains. Even Fleet Farm is over $20 for two. Just decided to check these a bit ago while gassing da blower up and checking spark plug, glad I did. Also why I keep extra spark plugs for everything on hand, mounting bolts, shear pins, fuel filters, etc. When ya need 'em, ya need 'em.

We'll likely be over 60" and the seasonal average is 52.8" at Waseca. It is fortunate that the water can get away and at our place, I can blow a lot of the snow into the road ditch from on top of the hill. Doesn't hit the road other than the Ruby poo!  :happy1:

Got any good grilling stuff? I got some thick CSR's, a couple of racks of ribs, and some Reb's rib rub...I can be over by dinnertime....we could do a real grill 'o rama. Of course, I plan on staying for a week or so....I drive a mean forklift and bucket. Me and Ruby can watch Gunsmoke and play "Catch the popcorn" while yer busy...  :rotflmao:

I'll have Ruby balancing pupcorn (what I call it) on her nose, and catching it in the air like she's Mookie Betts.  Scruffy could field green peas and grapes on the other side of the living room like nobody's business.  :azn:

A Richard is right along with several other choice adjectives. Gotta buy more salt to dump on the roads so people can continue to drive like idiots rather than learn how to drive.   :doofus:

Someone is goona have to come up with the money for the folks at hourcar.org so WE (state taxpayers) can subsidize their little car rental company that allows Millennials to buzz around town in little electric cars instead of taking the bus.

My understanding is that the 20 cent tax increase is just a proposal so it is not reflected in the price at the pump at this time. I might be wrong, correct me if I am. I don't like it any more than you guys do. (lest some members think this is an attempt to defend Walz   )

...HEAVY SNOW LIKELY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MINNESOTA
AND WESTERN WISCONSIN TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING...

.A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for much of central and
southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin starting tonight and
continuing through Wednesday evening. The Warning is in effect
south and east of a line from Lake Mille Lacs to Sauk Centre to

during the Wednesday morning commute. Snowfall is expected to
continue much of the day on Wednesday. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2
inches per hour will occur at times during the storm. Snowfall
will diminish Wednesday afternoon and evening but will still
impact the evening commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for West Central
Minnesota from Morris through Alexandria, Glenwood, Long Prairie
and Little Falls. Total snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches
can be expected within the Advisory area with the heaviest snow
expected Wednesday morning.

Hazardous travel conditions can be expected due to snow covered
roads and reduced visibilities. Plan for extra travel time,
especially for the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

Morning boys. Had -6 when I got up and the big fat 0 when we left for work. Snow flakes were just starting to come down when we left the house. Yep, have to love more taxes. Only in this fine state. The dirt bags already get 28.5 cents per gallon now and they think they need another 20 cents. How about they learn to control the spending. Maybe stop being the welfare dream state. This is the kind of garbage that really gets me fired up :angry2: :angry2:! And the people that pay the most is those of us that live out in greater MN and all the ends up in the metro. Enough of that or my blood pressure is going to go thru the roof. Just another day in paradise. Oh and gas went up here a dime overnight, 2.39 now. Have a good one boys.
