Well Lenny's first overnight road was deemed a success. We set his collar up for the schoolhouse and that went fine Friday night. Took him to the trap range in Bemidji with 500 people and shotguns going off all day and that went great, with the exception of a couple excitable moments on his part. Went to the kid's cabin Saturday night after shooting and met Dave's 110 pound male lab for the first time. After about 30 minutes of "who's the boss" that went well too. I'm thinking he's doing good for five months old. Not sure what's on tap for today, need to see if I can get the 4 ply tires replaced on the truck with 10 plys it is supposed to have on it. Going to pull 28' camper 120 miles on Friday and don't want a mistake to happen like a blown tire in the middle of no-where. Might spot-spray the yard today if possible too. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Tough shoot in that wind.  What a great range they built though.

Morning boys. 50 and heading for 57 with rain starting this afternoon. It says up to an inch possible overnight. So we shall see. I went down into the forest last night after work. I wanted to make sure the trail to our camping spot was clear. I had to remove a couple of small leaning trees. Plan is to go camp down there this weekend. But then I look at the boat and think maybe just stay home and fish. Such big decisions. Lol. Well, just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Hey Mark??   did you get the tree's you forgot???

Yep. Plus we had one guy back out on me so there's four apple trees left if you're interested. $20.00. Well seeing how it's raining I thinks there's a Glenn inspired project on tap for today. Pictures coming when completed. I didn't get any of the remaining yard sprayed, but I did get four new tires on the truck yesterday to the tune $1,480.00. Not giving them away, but my comfort level pulling the camper is up a ton. That means there's a set of Artic Claw tires for sale cheap here. 275-65-18 I think, ton of thread left on them, $120.00. Got to go, later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  it is 51 here and should see 63.  Rain later with wind too.  Warnings to watch creeks and rivers rising.  I got the meadow mowed yesterday and a good part of the pasture. The guys showed up and got the added deck built for us.  Very nice.  Man Mike good to hear your eye is ok and sure hope your heart checks go well too.  No big plans today, maybe work on the office walls some more.  You all have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 62 at choretime heading for a high in the low 70's. .16" of rain at the ranch overnite and .20" in Bugtussle. Lots of rain around us but we've been fortunate so far. Played hay fairy last nite so asset's kinda dragging this a.m. Got my copy written, proofed and sent in between visitors this a.m. Take a dump, eat an apple, make my run to the PO and my morning should be about SITA. Might be a Poppy afternoon... :coffee:

Morning boys. Windy and rainy here.  It is 49 and 60 is expected.  We have a blonde hair under 1 1/4" here now from this event.  Supposed to rain here all day and into tonight.  Like above 75% the whole time.  Inside day today.  I may do some ribs in the oven today.  Too wet outside and just got 3 racks at $2.99 lb.  That is a deal up here.  Well you all have a good one.  Good luck with the EKG Mike!

Darn good idea Mark.  Then a valve I suppose to turn it on and off.  It is a pain to not knock the jug of soap over.  I like it.  May have to copy your idea.

So I posted the pictures from my phone with little description because it's too hard to type on. The jug on the pressure washer is from an old Murray lawn mower, the mounts are fabricated from some 1/4"x1" bar stock and 1 1/2" angle iron. Fun project during the rain yesterday and only took a couple of hours to do. Well it's haircut day today and I can hardly wait. After that it's get stuff in the camper and get camper ready to go wheeling this weekend at a friend's place North of Akeley. We haven't done that for over ten years. Should be a good time. Heard the walleyes are hitting around here so I hope to get boat out next week. Fresh fish and hashbrowns sounds tasty right now all of a sudden. Have a great day all, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Went over and looked at Sheldon's shop.  Very nice shop.  Would be better without the water.  What a shame.  Good luck Sheldon. Thanks for the heads up Dutch.

Good morning campers. Sun is shining. Rain gauge total for this rain event, as they call them these days, was 2.9".
      Stay safe everyone.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 52 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper 60's. Rainfall totals were .93" at the ranch & 1.37" in Bugtussle proper. Plenty of wind so there's lots of crap to pick up before mowing again. At least we were spared from the tornaders like Greenfield IA got. Lots of phone calls this a.m. People must be bored if they want to talk to me. May blast out of here and try to mow some lawn so maybe I can get at the sheep pasture fence over at the kindly neighbors. He decided to take the bottom two strands of barbed wire off the fence which was fine. The wire had been snapped by the snow over the years and the dummies from the co-op hitting the fence with the sprayer numerous times. What wasn't so fine was the electric wire was tangled up with it. Rather than untangling it or cutting it and splicing it, he removed all that too! Now all the electric wire has to be replaced along with some of the insulators.  :doah: He did spray around the perimeter so at least there is that.

Good noon forum fellas 63 at lakeside,  drove out yesterday afternoon with no rain until we hit the driveway here. Really wanted to go fishing last night but the lake was rocking with the strong winds. Managed a few fish this morning tho, kept 4 eyes and a norten. Maisy is doing great, been retrieving in the water and woods,  thinking she'll see her first boat ride and fishin mission tonight, best run....See ya!!
