sounds good, I'll let Pat know, Im sure we'll all go.  It'd be cool to try to get the whole squad to go together the last rounds, although we will at the banquet... oh yeah, remind us to buy banquet tickets! :whistling:

Hey Cody, Got out Sunday with Kevin, I shot two 42's to give me a 40.8 avg for the year.  I looked back &b thats my best to date, one tenth of a % better than last years avg.!  (anythings an improvement eh?)  It was a great course, you guys'll have a blast! :whistling: I may go with ya guys when ya go if it aint this weekend, got the MN state shoot .  Pat said he may go this weekend though so let me know whats good for ya and Ill let Pat know if he doesnt see it here first.  Oh yea, I got my banquet ticket, so remind the others, ya gotta get it ahead of time, and ya dont wanna drive all the way back there to get one if ya forget! :banghead:(Ive done it!)

I noticed that there was a * by your name on our standings sheet on the clubhouse wall... I'm guessing its cause youre a first year shooter... ( that or because youre shooting using performance enhancing drugs!  And if you are, let me in on the secret! :rotflmao:) So all the others must have that asterisk also.... Hey ya have a pretty darn good avg for your first year Cody... Id be very satisfied! :happy1:

Yeah I know the feeling... but then you'll want two perfect scores... We should be shooting trap, skeet, or 5-stand to get those perfect scores... then its easy... ;)

Hey Cody... I think Pat is goin the next Saturday(23rd) he went with his bro' who used to shoot on our squad and shot a 44 on #9, but wants to re-shoot his rnd # 10 score, hey there's a chance at 3rd place in AA! :happy1:  Ummmm.... how do I tell ya how I did at the state shoot with both my hands clenched around my neck still from choking so bad... I'll try...(gulp) Saturday: shot a 85/100, really good, 2nd in my class and a good score for even A & AA shooters... Sunday: shot a 64/100, not good... but add em together and I missed out on getting any punches, money or trophys by only three or four shots. :banghead: Five stand, I missed third place in my class by one shot & again no punches or hardware! :banghead:   Oh well, the search & pursuit of perfection continues,eh? :whistling: :rotflmao:  The targets were set by this big-shot from England who set the targets at the US Open that I shot my first year I tried tourneys.... Unbelievable targets! :doah:  Ya gotta give the state shoot a go next year, after I dusted the soot off from burstin into flames, I did have to admit It was too much fun for one guy.  Maybe the most fun ya can have shooting clays... :happy1:  I'm supposed to go with a buddy to look at some Gorden Setter pups this Sat, but if were not, I'll head up there with ya guys... I gots ta get used to my lil SxS for this fall now!  Dont forget to get your banquet ticket when ya go, Pat forgot his, its a long drive to Wild Marsh just for a ticket! ;)

Wouldnt miss it for the world... kinda the last ditch warm up for the real feathered things! :dancinred:  Its pretty tough to concentrate and shoot while smelling the "those pork chops" grill wagon guys grilling away while ya shoot clays... ya almost need noseplugs to go with the earplugs!  I think one of the Boomstix guys are due to win one of those fine shotguns this year!  Could it be Cody?  Drumroll please! :woot:  :dancinred:

Yeah, they usually have the "Honker Flurry" and "long bird" games that ya can win prizes on so make sure ya have x-tra shells.  I think you can shoot 50 or 100 rds for the regular shoot.... :fudd:

Hey Cody... We got out Sat. morning, Pat picked up a few shots... which was cool.  Even cooler, Pats kid, Spencer, Shot a little over half the stations over the blue & green courses and did really well!  He actually beat me on a station, :banghead: and tied his dad on one or two! :happy1:  which is awesome, considering he's a little guy and he was shooting a full sized 391 12g!(had a little rasberry on his shoulder when finished, said his shoulder was "just a little sore"...)  I let him shoot  my 20g SxS a few times at the end and he hit some tough targets with it!  He's definatley hooked now, walking back to the clubhouse we were sayin he needs to get a little 20g, and Spencer goes, I want to get a SxS or a O/U! :doah:  Smart kid, feel sorry for his dad... ;)JK,  He'll be shootin with us before too long... just like Grute's kids.... really neat to start that fire and see em havin so much fun, and a little cranky when he'd miss and say, dang it, I should have hit those bunnies!  I hate them things!(sounds familar eh?)  He wants to shoot with us at the banquet, so he can give us all some more lessons then... :whistling:

Theres no huge hurry to get there... if ya get there too early ya sit around alot or spend too much $$ shooting games while waiting for the dinner bell... :chef:  (torture!)  I'll let ya know when we're heading up there later this week... Another cool thing besides the six guns they give away is this year They give away 10 one hundred dollar bills also! (along with a bunch of other stuff...) Bring yer lucky rabbits foot! :happy1:

Cody, Im lookin at the banquets flyer here, and it says the last flight(group) out to shoot is at 3pm, so I suppose bein there an hour or two before then to shoot some game sounds about right.... it says shooting games are from 11 to 4pm, so if ya want to shoot games, it ts best to use em for warming up for the regulat shoot....The "Wild hog pig roast" at 430pm and drawings and awards at 530pm.  What time do ya think you'll be up there?  Let me know if ya have any questions....
