Okay, I'm here and the "Team can't shoot for Sh*t" might fit me.   I haven't missed one, just passed on a few and the big doe by herself either saw me or heard me when I was pulling back the bow.  That's why I I love bow hunting so much!!!  Up where my hunting land is they've had 8" of rain in the last 3 - 4 weeks. 

My 15 year old daughter announced that she wanted to go out again this year.  She took a year or two leave, and now she'll be worked into the 11 year old's schedule.  I am very glad she wants to go...I'll believe it when I see it if she can pull the rifle trigger on one!

I'll have points by 11-10-2008...I hope that's soon enough!!!

Didn't hunt this weekend, got some things checked off the list...to earn enough points with MRS. ONLY $250 TO LAST ME THROUGH THE DEER SEASONS.  Any one else get out?

Hey only are you up for the name gg gave us. if so Don change it to that. Didn't go this weekend but big weekend next week. Going up to plummer. Will have one by sunday night when I get back. Going for a big buck . If I shot less then a 10pt I will also shot a doe so we at least get the 100 pts.

Yah Yah I am sorry I did not see what this was all about as I clicked on just the title and it took me to this thread. Then I backed out and saw the original start of all of this back on the 1st of Oct. So now I see it is too late to get in on the action. Good luck to all teams on the contest and I hope that you ALL  have a succesful season this year as well as a safe one.

Well if this year is as good as last year between my step son and I alone we put the smack down on five them little critters!!! I shot four of the five and some of them were pretty awesome shots. I know that MT my buddy put the smack down on 3 of the 5 that their group got last year.

This year with the rule change on caliber restrictions being lifted I promised myself that I would not shoot at a doe under 40 yards with my rifle, they will meet they demise at the other end of my .45ACP S&W model 99. If that is the case that means if like last year 3 will die on opening weekend.

Girlguide I would just like to inform you that there is a difference between being cockie and being that good, & I am THAT good!!! out of the last 20 or more years, that I have been deer hunting I can only remember twice that I did not shoot a deer and the was 1999 when my dad filled both our tags before 7:30am and 2000 as 1999 was my last hunt with him I had little or no desire to hunt in 2000, as a matter of fact if it had not been for a young 12 year old boy that I mentored through gun saftey class and had promised him to take him deer hunting I would not have even been in the field that year. I just for the first time in my life had no desire to hunt deer, however the the big guy in the sky had a different idea of how things were going to be. Jake did not get his first deer that year however the following year he did shoot a big 175lbs doe, and the following year he manage to shoot a scrub rack 6pt, then came my step son James he shot his first deer on stand with me at age 12 small button buck, and then at 13 he went to montana with his dad and last year he missed a 6pt and a 8pt standing side by side on opener weekend and finally shot another large doe on saturday am shortly after I shot the 8pt he missed the weekend before.  We do, do very well when it comes to deer hunting. So this little deal should be a ton of fun not mention all of the ribbing.

Hey Just remember it is not how big the deer is for a doe. But if it is a buck it better be bigger then 10 pts to get more pts. Let see what JD Team "THINK'S he can shoot sh*t"! has to post for a deer  and we will see the pts at the end.

Hey I promise that there will be at least on buck and at least two or three does shot by the end of season and that is just me and my step son, that does not even include MT who has now joined team blood mobile, and he is usually good for 3-5 deer off the land they hunt. So with any luck at all there be at least 7 deer photographed if not 10. And yes all the deer pics will be date stamped this season, and not last years or older.  But yes ladies we will see who is out in front at the end.
