A block and a half away from White Bear Lake..  That must mean you bought what was lake shore a few years ago.  For those who don't know, the lake level has dropped over the past years and now there are wide expanses of exposed lake bed.
Welcome to the site.

Hey all,

I'm 22, just moved here from the great state of Nebraska where I grew up and attended college. I have a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife-ecology. I am a very avid hunter and fishermen. Looking for some people to hunt and fish with around the Brainerd area.
Give a man a fish and he is fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will spend all his money on graphite rods and expensive lures

Also new here. Live in Chaska. Am 37 years old, and I shot my first deer last year. Yep. Took a while.

I hunt deer and really love to hunt squirrel. Love squirrel. Pretty psyched hunting season is almost here!

My friends call me Jim, but you can call me Jim.  Just an Iowegian transplanted to northwoods after recent career move.  Area(s) of previous focus were pheasant hunting and fur trapping.  Looking to pick up waterfowl and turkey hunting while enjoying the clear air and woods of Minnesota.  Just trying to feed the world as best I know.

Hey 24yr old living in St. Cloud. From Monticello, but known to have spent a few summers/deer seasons up in the Cook,Gheen,Orr area. The last 4yrs I've been a small game air rifle hunter only. I enjoy the challenge, and  haven't been able to afford the week off for deer season. I do fish when I have the time, not as often as I'd like. Prefer Northerns to Walleyes. Avid Bass guitar player. Been w/ the same girl for the last 2yrs whom I'll probably marry.

Alright as the sign above the cabin door says

Nice to have you on-board!
With the boat loads of deer in your area - I would say you are on your way to taking some more deer  :happy1:.  Good luck out there and let us know how things are going!

I am 40 years old and camp often with my two sons. I work at a restaurant equipment supplier. I joined this forum to find good camp cooking recipes. We've gone on dozens of camp trips, but I have yet to blow my kids' minds with a camp dinner.

Hoping I can score here.

Great to meet everybody.

Hey Everyone-

I stumbled upon this website a couple of days ago and wanted to say hi.  I'm 26 from New Hope, MN and am starting to get into hunting.  I'll be heading to the fields this weekend to try and kick up some pheasants for the first time and i'm excited for my second deer season in about a month.

I'm hoping to be in the market for a pup in the near future (still working on the wife...), and have my eye on a wirehaired grif, so if anyone has any advice on the breed or tips on breeders I'd love to hear it.

-Al
